Toga has been starring at me hours, burning a hole in my head as I sip my eight drink and flip through the news, trying to find any media coverage of the events today, but I find none.
"Grrrrr." I growl out as I come up with none.
"You know that there will be no media coverage of what happened today, especially if it involved one of the major heros looking bad, especially the newly minted number 4 losing control and endangering civilian lives." Kurogiri chimes in, pouring me my ninth glass of bourbon.
"I don't understand why you care so much. Who is she? Is she on the hit list because I'd gladly snuff her out for you baby." Toga purrs as she comes up behind me and and kisses my neck, stinking of lust as she throws her arms around my shoulders, her knife dangling close.
"Touch her and I kill you." I bluntly state, letting the lethal weapon that was the killing calm settle over me. Toga stiffened and hissed.
"That's it, that's bitches days are numbered."
"And so are yours." I say and my eyes snap back to the TV as the news comes on.

"Breaking News, Pro Hero, Vudu Inferno seemed to have moment of lost control as she sent off a deadly fog that could have killed thousands, but thankfully no one was hurt due to the Pro Hero Hawks having warned citizens before hand. Now there is rumor going around based on the following reports that there is a secret love affair happening between Vudu Inferno and her Boss The number 2 hero, Endeavor.

I laugh an unhinged laugh as I listen to the news, shaking my head in bitter acknowledgement of what the HSC (Hero Safety Commission) bullshit excuse to cover up what happened.
