Breaking an addiction is not easy it takes your time, your money and lots of practice .
You have to constantly tell yourself, your not going to give up but only move forward .
Even though you we'll have temptations along the way, it's important to keep on the path your going towards ending your addiction, instead of falling into it, which is called a relapse .
Important steps by suggestion only, for me I make a list . Prayer is very important but very hard too do when you have your cravings . Scheduling is something that needs to be done but don't remind yourself of how many times you have a fall or a slip or a drawback but what's important is why you are falling and what triggers you . So have a pad and paper in handy your laptop, or phone or tablet can't always count on, but paper and a pen you can . Now look up every place you have fallen through the year ?
This we'll help you if you kept track of this . If not why not start now ?
Write down the triggers your falling in . You we'll find that you do have triggers, depending on your addiction. Triggers can be from movies, bars , seeing couples and feeling lonely from this can also trigger loneliness . Seeing your friends drinking and your not, for many it might be nicotine .
For a certain amount of people it can be drugs , a   certain amount might be triggered by adult webcams or adult entertainment, can also be an addiction and a trigger that can get you to go back to your place of addiction . An addiction to anger, lust, greed, and so on. Addicted to never having enough money but always wanting more and pretty soon you look at your mates the same way .
Examples might be "You don't have enough money I'm leaving you" . "You don't have the same body I like on this adult film, so I don't need you I'll just do this" . All have the same thing in common all have a secret hidden addiction . Yet this fits so many people who might feel that's not an addiction .
It's addiction denial, the reason why a man is attracted to his car, more then you, is because he spends more time with his car . The reason why a female might want you for money instead of what's in your heart, is because tv might of raised her or her friends treat men the same way, or all her cool friends hang out with very wealthy friends . Can be all kinds of reasons but I call a woman or a man, who is only their for your money, greed and we'll never be satisfied , until that person realizes, hey wait a minute I think I might have addiction to greed? Here are my suggested tips

Have a pad and a pen of some sort, and write these things down.

. Prayer

. Scheduling

. What Triggers You?

. Are you in Denial ?

. Write Down what bothers you, in the day, noon or night.

Thank you for your time .
