Shoji stayed on the roof as Benihime walked away and went down the stairs. Shoji knew that it would be hard news to break to Benihime, but the sight of her running away with tears in her eyes froze him in place. Shoji did not feel very good about himself at the moment, it was something that had to be done, but Shoji wished someone else could have done it.

" Hurry up and go after her, aren't you going to confess to her Shoji-kun!?," Yayaka asked as Benihime ran away.

" No, I just didn't want her wasting her time on Tanahashi-san," Shoji said surprised that Yayaka thought he was going to confess.

" You're kidding right? I thought you had a plan, otherwise I would have stopped you. I thought if you asked Beni-chan out, she would have seen how much of a better boyfriend you could be than Keiji-san. Go after her, she's going to kill Keiji-san," Yayaka said starting to run after Benihime.

" I thought that if I broke things to her easy made her see that Tanahashi-san is a scumbag, she'd see she was better off without him and would control herself," Shoji said running alongside Yayaka.

" Here I'm thinking that Beni-chan is the doe eyed girl who reads too many romance novels, but you have the doe eyes to. Beni-chan is too emotional, too wrapped up in fantastical beliefs about romance, to accept her boyfriend cheating on her rationally. Beni-chan is not rational when it comes to love, why else would someone like her even go out with Tanahashi to begin with. Forget that for now, you stop Beni-chan, I'll get Kurasawa-sama." Yayaka said.

" Wouldn't it be better if we switched roles?," Shoji asked, thinking that it didn't make much sense for him to go after Benihime when Yayaka was a yokai.

" I'm not going to fight my best friend, you wanted to play the white knight, so see it through to the end," Yayaka said and split away from him.

Shoji kept following Benihime's trail, it wasn't hard, the air was considerably colder anywhere she had passed through, still how was she moving so fast? Shoji really didn't need the trail anyway he knew where Benihime was heading, towards the soccer field where Tanahashi would be waiting to start practice. Shoji had to stop her before she reached the field.

" Shoji-san, what's the rush," Noriko shouted at Shoji as he ran past her. Shoji stopped and went back, if Noriko would help him, he could stand a chance at stopping Benihime.

" I felt all this cold air and knew something must have happened to Benihime-san," Noriko said.

" Isn't it obvious, this idiot told that emotional wreck of a yuki-onna that she was being cheated on and now she's out to kill her cheating boyfriend. By the look on this dummies face, he's now hoping that you'll save him again," Mari said appearing out of the shadows.

" I wouldn't put it that way, but that's close to what happened. Yayaka went to get Kurasawa-sama if we could stop Toyama-san from reaching the sports complex until she gets there, we can stop her from doing anything foolish," Shoji said.

" What's all this we talk, seems like you got yourself in trouble again. I told you not to show the photos to Benihime-san, didn't I? You didn't listen though and now you come running to Noriko-chan to save you again. You're a guy, shouldn't you be embarrassed to have a girl constantly saving you?," Mari said laying into Shoji.

" That's enough Mari-chan we're wasting time, we're stopping Benihime-san, we may not be very close friends with her, but we are friends. Now let's go," Noriko said using more of an authoritative voice than Shoji had ever heard her use.

" Fine, but if you ask me your motivations for doing this aren't all about Benihime-san," Mari said and gave Shoji a wink. Noriko then got on all fours and in an instant transformed into a grey cat, with two tails. Mari was off in a flash, running so fast Shoji could barely follow her with his eyes.
