It had been about a month since Ami's break up with Yerim. She's been spending a lot of time with me, way more often than usual.
I walked around the school since it was a free period, with Gelus behind me. No one could see him, so he was free to do whatever he wanted to do in the human world. Since, only I could see him.
I walk into the library, expecting Ami to be there since you know.. She's always there in her free time.
But I didn't really see her as I checked further in, well what was until I heard something behind me.
"Uhm, excuse me?" I heard a girls voice behind me.
I turned around, to see Ami. "Oh, hey Ami."
"Hey Yuta! What're you here for?" Ami asks.
"Oh, I came here looking for you."
"Oh, nice!" She giggles nervously.
"Say uh.. Wanna go to the roof instead today?" I ask them.
"Sure, uhm..Just let me grab a few books." She says, then walking past Gelus and I to get those said books.
Once she was back, she checks out at the librarian and heads out with Gelus and I. Walking up to the school rooftop for lunch.
"So why did you want to come to the rooftop today Yuta?" Ami asks as soon as we opened the doors to the roof.
"Not sure, I guess I just wanted some fresh air today huh." I respond, walking over to one of the edges with her that had fencing.
"Hmm, valid reason." Ami laughs as we sit down on the floor, with Gelus on the other side of me.
"How are things going without Yerim around?" I ask.
"Well.. Can I just be honest?" Ami says quietly.
"Yeah, of course." I reassure them.
"Honestly, I feel like you're the only person who I'm feeling at peace with right now. Everyone else.. I don't even know right now. I feel like since that event, so many people have just started to ignore me except for you. I thought everything between me and Yerim were fine.. But I guess not." Ami answers truthfully, tearing up a little as well.
"Did you guys ever talk?" I ask, letting them rest on me for comfort.
"We did talk a couple days after, but she's still different towards and I just don't what to do." Ami cries out as she holds onto me.
I wrap my arms around Ami, making sure she's going to calm with me a for awhile. "Shh, its ok."
"You're not gonna do the same thing right?" She asks, choking on their sobs.
"Of course not, Ami."
