Chapter 3 : Slice of Life

"Sorry, I'm distrubing you in the middle of your date, we'll talk later" said Ryūnosuke. "We're not on a date and sit there's a lot of things to talk about" said Izumi angered. After explanaing they knew that Ryūnosuke was very shocked and didn't spoke for some minutes. He finally says, "All the things you told me is literally crazy, my story is just that my reality shifted because I tried to quantum leape here". "You came out of your own will ?" said Izumi with a confused expression. "Yeah, actually my dad died in my reality. He was a sciencetist. He made a time machine before but never used it. When I asked him he told me, "Everything has it's own time" and I think he was waiting for the right time" said Ryūnosuke. He changed his sad expression to a normal expression and says, "Firstly, I think we should built a time machine or rather a quantum leaping machine. Since Suzuki-san was a sciencetist and has made a time machine before, I think we could built it with her help plus you're sciencetist too, Ichida-san". Hayasaka and Izumi agreed to help build a time machine. "Before making a time machine we first have to buy a small apartment that we can call our laboratory. So, we'll all do part-time jobs. After collecting money we'll buy a apartment build the machine" Ryūnosuke stated. Izumi says, "one month's money will get you a small apartment and since we're three we can collect even more. So, we'll start working on part-time jobs until one month and after that we'll buy the apartment and buy the parts required for time machine too". Hayasaka and Ryūnosuke agrees to him and they started working on part-time jobs. Hayasaka says, "Before anything let's start calling each othe by our first names". Ryūnosuke said, "Alright, then you guys can call me Ryū. Hayasaka says, "you can call Hayasaka". "Izumi" said Izumi while blushing a little. Hayasaka says in a funny way, "What are you getting all blushed up ?". "Shut up" said Izumi. Ryūnosuke said, "Before we go make Izumi you trim your beard everyday because we just quantum leaped here, our bodies are still the old ones so, make sure nobody thinks that you're not a high scholar and of course, hide from your mom and shave otherwise she'll suspect you".

After one month, they finally bought a small apartment and all the parts required. Izumi knew some places where they could get parts with cheap prices and thanks to that they were able to buy all parts and Ryūnosuke also did some extra work to collect more money. They continued their part-time jobs because there was chance that they can't make it in first try and some parts can get destroyed. The first time they made it, to test that it works they tried sending a chips packet into another reality but they failed, Second Time : Failed, Third Time : Failed, Fourth Time : Failed, Fifth Time : Failed.........

After 3 months of countinous trying they finally was able to make it successfully. They were very happy that if finally was able to send that chips packet to another reality. Ryūnosuke said, "Now that it's successful we can discuss what we have to do and how things should work out but for now let's enjoy!" "Enjoy ?" said Izumi. "Yeah, let's go to a bar, let's have a toast. Even though we're high scholars but still your body is still that of an 25 year old" said Ryūnosuke. Izumi and Hayasaka agrees to go.

At the bar,

They were all a little drunk, and Ryūnosuke says, "I have no clue about how we are gonna return to our reality. First, we have to find out why your according to you your brain knowlege transfered to this reality's you. And more importantly who is that man ?". Izumi sighs, "That man is I think the real person who's controlling the strings behind the scenes. Somehow he knew already what was gonna happen to Hayasaka's future in reality no.2 and in reality no.3 meaning this reality and of course why did he knew that I quantum leaped there and I died before. Hayasaka you're so quiet is something worn- ?" He was facing Ryūnosuke who was sitting in front of him and when he looked to his right side Hayasaka was asleep. When he tried waking her up she says while half-sleep, "I donnn't waant too driink moore, Izuuuuumi". Izumi says, "This girl didn't even drink much is more drunk than us and don't stretch my name, stupid". Hayasaka falls asleep again. Ryūnosuke says while getting, "Alright, I'm off now take care of her". Izumi says, "Hey wait dumbass, he's gone already.... Leaving her to me".

Izumi carries Hayasaka back to her home. He search a key in her bag, founds the key and unlocked her apartment's door. He puts her into her bed and was gonna hurry to his home but suddenly, Hayasaka grapes his hand and says, "Sleep here tonight, Izuuuuumi". Izumi says, "Like I said, stop streching my name and you're doing it on purpose, aren't you ? See, I have to go, I can't just sleep at your place. Hayasaka shows her cute side and says, "Pleaasseee". Izumi thinks in his mind, "Damn it, when a girl shows her cute side I can't help it". Izumi says to her, "Alright, I got it". He informed her mom that he will sleep tonight in a friend's house so, she can sleep. While she was sleeping in her bed, he takes out an extra fūton and while he was searching for it she sees the letter that Hayasaka said that, that strange man sent this letter and we have to follow this letter or we will seriously die. He reads that letter and was extremely shocked to see what he read because it opened up many possibilities for him to make theories about what's happening. After that he put the letter in it's place and set his fūton right and sleeps.
