(You also work at the restaurant as an entertainer, you're a magician)

Y/N's POV:
It was already getting dark when I looked out the window of our restaurant. I sighed a broom in my hand as I rubbed my eyes, I'd finally finished cleaning up after todays birthday party. I dusted off my suit and stretched, hear my back crack and sighing at the relief.

"Gosh, why did I ever agree to stay behind and clean up this mess?"

       "To be fair-"

I jumped and turned around at the sudden voice, not expecting a response to my mumbled thoughts, and there stood Boozoo, who had just waltz out of the kitchen most likely done with cleaning the dishes and mopping the floor.

"It was our turn to clean anyway." He paused and flashed me a smile, a small yet sincere smile from the lanky brunette. "And besides. We all get a much deserved day off tomorrow! It's the first one we've gotten all year and I don't know about you but I could really use some extra rest after today."

Boozoo took the broom from my hands and set it aside, he wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me close to his chest and resting his head atop of my own.

       "I think that's good enough Y/N. Let's go home."

Though his voice still had its usual happy, upbeat tone, he sounded strained and completely exhausted, and, taking a step back and intertwining our fingers a realized he looked it too. His usually pristine red outfit was wrinkled and wet in spots from washing dishes all night, his hair was messy, eyes droopy and unfocused and met with bags underneath them. His hat had been completely discarded, likely put away in our little cubbies backstage, were we put our props and belongings.

It only took one look at Boozoo for my whole demeanor to soften. Looking into his pleading, brilliant blue eyes, I smiled and nodded in agreeance. "Let's go home." I said with a small smile, for I too was completely exhausted.

Boozoo and I walked hand in hand to our small home only about a block away from Bon's Burgers, which had always been convenient for us sense we didn't have to go out of our way to get into work, and in this case, made the trip home much easier for two overly exhausted performers.

When we reached the porch of our little house Boozoo walked ahead of me and pulled the keys to the door out of the pocket of his pants, fumbling with them for a second before getting the door open and walking in. I tailed behind him into our home and closed the door behind me and proceeded to help him remove his jacket and hung it up for him.

"Thank you love." I went to respond by saying your welcome but was caught off gaurd when Boozoo grabbed my cheeks with his gloved hands and gently kissed my forehead, then moving away and removing his shoes before walking off to get ready for bed. I stood in place for second with flushed cheeks and a radiant smile plastered on my face.

I got rid of my of my own uncomfortable dress shoes, taking a second to massage my sore, blistered feet with my thumbs before sighing and walking toward my and Boozoo's shared bedroom, removing my vest on the way and beginning to unbutton my white dress shirt. Once I got into the room Boozoo was already lying on the bed, above the covers, reading a book in his soft blue button up pajamas shirt and blue pants, light brown hair tied back into a messy bun.

His attention went to me once I entered the room. "You got ready really quick huh?"

"Or perhaps you're just slow dear."

I gave out a fake offended gasp. "How dare you!?" Boozoo giggled slightly at my response as I pulled off my now unbuttoned shirt moving over to my dresser to get a big T-shirt to wear, not feeling like sleeping in pants tonight. I found an oversized T-shirt and slipped it over my head, then unbuttoning and slipping off my dress pants, haphazardly throwing them somewhere in the room. I'll deal with them later.

I crawled onto the bed and threw my arms around Boozoo's waist, shoving my face into his side, loving the warmth of his body against mine.

I looked up at Boozoo who had closed his book and was looking at me with something akin to adoration in his eyes. He leaned down to snatch a kiss of my lips befor placing his book on the nightstand next to our bed and pulling back the covers for us both to get under.

After some shuffling we got into a comfortable position. Bodies pressed up against one another, taking in eachothers warmth, covered by blankets in our shared home. I fell asleep in the arms of the man I love after an exhausting day of hard work, as happy as I could be, and if I had the choice, I gladly would've stayed there in Boozoo's arms for eternity.
