It was finally the day Jimin awaited a date with Taehyung. Finally, after weeks of waiting and for once being somewhat patient, he was going on a date with the hottest guy at school. Jimin was currently picking out an outfit but didn't know whether to dress cute or hot. Then again, Taehyung did say he prefers cute over hot.
"This is so difficult," Jimin says, staring at his closet. He either has baggy clothes or tight clothes and most of the time, he wears button-up shirts and some jeans to school.
"Ugh, whatever, I'll just wear a hoodie and some jeans," He says, grabbing a baby blue hoodie and black jeans.
"Why can't he be like the other guys who only want a good time?" But that's what makes Taehyung better than the other guys. A little smile spreads across Jimin's face when he thinks about how sweet Taehyung has been acting with him recently.
Although that moment is short-lived when he remembers his plan.
"I can't fall for him. I shouldn't; he's too good for me. If he truly knew how I was, he would've never talked to me in the first place," saying that brought Jimin back to reality. Taehyung is only talking to him because of the persona he puts on; if he knew how many boys Jimin has slept with, he would be embarrassed to be seen with him.
Jimin shook his head, "It's too late to back out now. I'll get what I want, then end it."
He quickly finished getting ready and waited for Taehyung to pick him up.
It's the first date, so that they won't be sleeping together, but Jimin might be able to steal a kiss.

Taehyung picked Jimin up after a while, and they started to walk to the beach. It was a long walk, but they didn't mind well; Taehyung didn't.
"Tae, it's so far. Do we have to walk," Jimin complained as he walked.
"What do you mean? It's good exercise," Taehyung says, walking with his hands in his pocket.
"Are you calling me chubby?" Jimin asks, turning to face Taehyung.
"No. You have those adorable mochi cheeks," Taehyung replies, gently pinching Jimin's cheeks.
"Yah! Don't squeeze my cheeks," Jimin says, pretending to rub his cheeks while trying to cover his blush.
"And what if I do," Taehyung teases.
"Don't try to get bold with me, Kim, or y'all regret it," Jimin says, causing Taehyung to laugh.
"What are you going to do, shorty? Bite my ankle?" Taehyung says, causing Jimin to run after him. Taehyung was surprisingly fast, considering he was carrying a backpack.
"Hey, get back here!" Jimin yelled as he started to fall behind Taehyung, which he blamed on Taehyung for having a head start.

After walking and mostly running after one another, they finally made it to the beach. The weather was perfect, and they awaited the sunset.
Taehyung put down his backpack and took out a blanket. He laid it down on the sand for both of them to sit on.
"Wow, the water looks so beautiful," Jimin says as he sits beside Taehyung.
"Yeah, it does," Taehyung replies.
Although Jimin asked Taehyung on a date, he's never been on one. Most of his hookups take him to the room and get down to business. But if he's being honest, this has been one of the best days of his life.
"This isn't much of a date, is it?" Jimin asks, looking at Taehyung.
"It's fine. Besides, I like how peaceful this feels," Taehyung said, giving him his boxy smile.
"I like your smile Tae,"
"Really? Thanks, I like yours too,"
Jimin gets a little closer to Taehyung, "Are you sure? Some people say my lips are too big."
"No, they're a perfect size. I like how plump they are because when you pout, you look so cute," Taehyung says.
"You think so," Jimin says, now getting closer to Taehyung's lips causing his words to come out as a whisper. Taehyung nods as he unconsciously starts to lean in as well.
However, before their lips can touch, Taehyung turns around quickly, finally coming to his senses.
"Oh, look! The sunset looks so beautiful," Taehyung says, trying to calm his heart from beating faster than usual.
"Yeah, really beautiful," Jimin says with a slight pout.
