A few days later she woke up in the hospital. Realizing that there were more questions asked, and more left unanswered. But seeing that friendly face next to her bed made her smile immediately and she forgot about all those questions.

His beautiful green eyes, black hair and to-die-for smile made her want to scream. She was released a day later and then the name of the gorgeous guy came to her… It was Evan!

That jock every girl wanted. They went to his house and when they walked in she got all of her courage and asked him her most wanted question. She asked him his name just to make sure it was him. Merely a second after she asked him he grabbed her and gave her a kiss. She pushed him away and yelled at him: “What’s wrong with you?!” Then he grabbed her and kissed her  again, this time she didn’t resist I mean that was her second first kiss from him.

He pulled away and said in these precise words: “I’m so glad you’re alright, I don’t know what I would’ve done if I hadn’t found you, I would’ve missed you so much!”  Eventually he explained everything to her. She was his girlfriend and had been for like several months.

She was a cheerleader and her Grade Point Average wasn’t that bad for a cheerleader. The girlfriend thing explains the pictures though; turns out she lived there as well. They were best friends since they were twelve, following his story she remembered hers. She has never talked to him in her life and he says he had known her for five years.

She had no idea of what was going on but she liked it. Evan Bruth her boyfriend! Tall, dark and handsome. Every second night further he told her how they met, it was at primary school and a bully was bullying her and he came to her rescue he showed her pictures as well, even at the age of twelve he was very strong and beautiful.

He would kiss her on her cheek before she went to sleep every night before he went to his room. The next day she asked him about her family, because she had no idea why she was living with him. He told her that they had died the year he and she had met, in a house fire when she was at a Primary cheerleading camp. She had stayed with his aunt and uncle until the age of sixteen.

So this life is her alter ego she didn’t even know it was possible to enter the world of your “other self”. She went to the library to find something on the topic, and for the reason why she had been sucked into this “dimension”. When she looked at the librarian it was like the librarian knew what she wanted and she said: “Follow me.” It was strange because she took her straight past the fiction side into the detective, crime and drama side. She searched for a while and got a topic: Altered Life for Unproven people. At first she didn’t get the name but when she started reading it, it all sort of made sense.

On page sixty-six the heading of the chapter was: ‘Living wishes and emotions from first ego.’ She closed the book not wanting to read further, she was afraid that she would lose that amazing life if she knew the truth. She’ll lose Evan, and for what? No one actually notices her in her first ego, it’s not like she has anything to lose. She tried reading further but everything became a blur.

She woke up in the library there was complete and utter silence as if there was no one there.  Then she heard a voice, it sounded like the librarian, but when she looked up to see it wasn’t the librarian it was something that had the posture and balance of a human, but it was anything except human.

There was a liquid coming from its mouth and it was black. It wrote something on the table but it wasn’t in English. Ulos siitä was written on the table. Stacey wrote it down in her notebook and went looking for a way out. When she stood up all the lights went on and the library was busy, and she saw the librarian on the other side of the room, so it couldn’t have been her. She went home and straight to bed, she was exhausted.
