Corey, Andre, and Shemeya sat in Corey's house with Ashley.
They managed to get Ashley's number from Andre's brother, Samuel, since they used to date back in the day. Corey say across from Ashley in pure terror. There was something following. It faded back and forth in and out of view. Corey tried to look down and away, focusing past her and not on the ghost like creature clinging to her.
When they had approached her and told her what was going on, she began to cry with relief.
Still nervous, and whatever is hovering over her. Clinging. She seems to grow older by the second. More frail and week. She coughed up blood in a napkin.
"She's cursed me," Ashley said. "I knew it. As soon as I left her apartment from getting my hair down I started getting sick.
"How sick?" Shemeya asked. Corey knew from the way lack of fear on the face they didn't see the thing clinging to Ashley.
"My nose started bleeding," Ashley began. "My head hurts, I pass out at least once a day and I have no energy. I can't keep any food down."
"Have you talked to her?" Corey asked.
"No, I'm scared." But I have something that might help me. But I can't read it." She pulled the purse from her lap and pulled out a book.
The spook, he had no idea if it was a ghost but spook was the only word he could think of. Perked up. It left Ashley and floated towards the book, staring at it intently. After a few seconds, it looked from the book to Corey expectedly. He had a feeling it wanted Corey to pick it up. Corey stepped back and hit Shemeya's hand away from the book. "If its Jade's nobody should touch it. If you got it from her. It can't be any good. You should get rid of it"
"OH god!" Ashley began to wail. Her voice was so shrill it sounded like a banshee's death cry. "I tried to get rid of it. I've tried. It keeps coming back. Reappearing out of nowhere. I've thrown in Lake Hefner, in a landfill. It won't leave me."
"My baby has been staying with my mom because she's scared of me. Her dad. He just straight disappeared and told me he needed spaced. Please help me."
