You grinned as you read the comments of your video. You were glad that people liked it. You fans called themselves Promises, which you thought was very sweet. You had came early today since your brother, Jimin, had before school basketball practice. You leaned against the school wall as you waited in front of the school.
"Uh, excuse me," somebody said beside you. You switched your phone off, lifted your head. You faced a boy about your age. You couldn't help but stare into his eyes. They shone, like literally. You must have been gaping that he waved his hands before your eye.
"Um, sorry, what?" you blink.
"Hi, I'm Choi Beomgyu," he asked. You kept zoning out at his beauty. "did school start?"
"Uh not yet," you managed to speak. "You can wait here. Which class?"
"Grade 12," he points to the badge on his shirt pocket. My class, you think.
"Oh, you're with me," you said as you fiddled with your fingers. "What did you say your name was?"
"Beomgyu. What's yours?" He held his hand out.
"Y/n, nice to meet you," you shook his hand. He leaned against the wall, beside you.
"How many people are there in our class?" he asked.
"10, including you. 6 boys and 4 girls," you replied. "Are you the new student from Daegu?" You had noticed his satoori accent.
"Yup, that's me," he grinned making you shy all over again. He talked with you about the school and Seoul.
"Do you have any friends here?" he asked the sensitive topic.
"Um, I..." you opened your mouth to reply. You noticed Jeongin and Dongsoo approaching, and Beomgyu did to.
"Who are those?" he asked. You sighed in relief.
"That's Jeongin and Dongsoo. They are with us," you say hoping that Beomgyu would talk to them. You were scared of creating a bad impression on him.
"Can you introduce me to them?"
"Me?" you said, thinking that you heard it wrong. He just nodded. "I guess, ok." You led him to them.
"Hey guys," you said to them. They didn't do anything but talk over you. You felt your cheeks flush with embarrassment. "Um, guys." you said lounder. They heard.
"Oh, y/n," Jeongin glanced at Beomgyu. "Who's this?"
"Um, this in Beomgyu," you said. "Beomgyu, this is Jeongin and Dongsoo."
"Hey mate," Dongsoo fist bumped Beomgyu. Jealousy rose inside you. They didn't even wave hi on your first day. Once they started talking, you stepped away from them.
Clearly they don't want me to stick around, you thought and walked inside the school.

"Hey that was rude of you," you heard Beomgyu say beside your locker. He pouted.
"Huh," you said. "what do you mean?"
"I mean, leaving me behind with them," he followed you through the corridor.
"Why they didn't take you along?"
"No, I didn't go with them," he started walking backwards facing you.
"Why?" you were surprised that Beomgyu actually wanted to stay with you.
"Cuz, I thought it will be rude of me, to leave you behind," he pouted again making you laugh. But inside, you felt so happy. Everyone left you, but he somehow understood that it was actually rude to leave people behind.
"Oh well, I didn't think that way," you said, suddenly feeling guilty. "I'm sorry."
"Nah, that's fine. We have maths now don't we?" you nod. "Can sit beside you?"
"Sure, I have a free seat beside me," you said and smiled at him.

You slided into your usual lunch table. Nobody sat around you, usually, but Beomgyu just followed you. It's because it's first day, you thought. Tomorrow, he will act like you didn't even exist.
You silently ate your food, as you watched the rest of class enter the lunchroom. Beomgyu noticed you and looked at them. "Do they sit with you?" he asked.
"Um no," you mumbled, silently wishing that he would just leave you. You want him to stay, but you know that he doesn't actually want to. He's just being nice.
"How do you come to school?" he asked.
"By bike."
"Oh really. I am coming by bike, starting from next week."
"That's cool."
"You don't talk much, do you?"
"I only talk a lot with people I am comfortable with," you said seriously, but he just smiled at you.
