It was raining outside, thunder boomed as you and your friends walked to your destination. It was cold but you all wore jackets, bringing along backpacks filled with various items such as flashlights, bobby pins and even a first aid kit. After all, you were going to be breaking into an abondoned arcade. The place in question was mentioned earlier by a member of your school's occult club, and you quickly got excited at the thought of a supposedly haunted arcade, you loved arcades a lot so it'd be fun to see what old games were inside.

You guys walked to the arcade enterance to find the door locked as expected, the windows boarded up as well. Your friend picked the lock and you all enter to find the place was... lit up? There was music playing, the kind you'd hear on the radio nowadays which was weird because of how old the arcade was. The machines all worked, although they didn't need quarters to work and had an infinite amount of credits.

Fear turned into excitement as you all ran to the different games and played them, no tickets came out but that didn't matter since nobody was around so you could steal whatever prizes you wanted. You decided to check out the kitchen as your friends competed to see who could get higher scores, the place was well kept surprisingly, but the lights were off so you couldn't quite see everything. You could've sworn you saw a figure, however, so you decided to turn on the light in case if it was your imagination.

Before the lights had a chance to turn on fully, the figure ducked, and you jumped. It's probably just another person who broke in too... You thought as you called out quietly,

"Hey, it's alright! I'm not going to tell on you, actually me and my friends also snuck in!" You heard a boy whisper,

"Oh god there's more..?" as you followed the source of the sound.

You checked inside one of the cabinets to see a boy with yellow-orange hair, baby blue eyes and a blue collared shirt with a pink tie. He shrieked at you as he attempted to shut the cabinet door as you held it open.

"PLEASE DON'T HURT ME!" he cried out loudly, a bit too loudly as you shushed him.

"Hey, we're not gonna hurt you!"

Suddenly you hear foot steps as you turn around to see your friends standing by the doorway.

"Is everything alright!? We heard someone yell and the machines stopped working and-"

"Who was that in the cabinet!?"

You turn back to see the boy had shut the cabinet, and, after some pulling at the door, you manage to open it as he came flying out due to the sheer force of your pulls.

"Ghh- PLEASE STAY BACK!" He was in tears now as you and your friends approached him.

"Hey, we aren't going to hurt you! What makes you think we'd do that?" You tried to reason with the boy, upon closer examination he looked to be around the same age as you.

"I-It's just... everyone else tries to hurt us... Or they- they run away..."

"Us..?"

"My... my friends, I see them as my... my family, and we- we're just trying to live..!"

"It's alright, we were just looking around!"

You state as you extend a hand, he grabs it as you help him up. You guys left the kitchen as one of your friends piped up, asking,

"Hey, you said family, right? Does that mean-" they were interupted by a scream that sounded more like a war cry as a boy with brown spiky hair wielding a baseball bat charged at you all, screaming,
