Chapter 5
Yaoyorozu didn't know what to think. Midoriya, the man who was considered to be the greatest student in UA's history, the man who repeatedly proved why he was the greatest... The man with the kindest heart she knew, was a villain?
She didn't want to accept it, because how could it be true? How could Midoriya be the leader of a villain group?
The black-haired girl had these thoughts flow through her head at high speeds, unable to register what was around her. It got to the point that she almost bumped into whoever was in front of her when they suddenly stopped.
Yaoyorozu looked around and saw that she and the other students had already reached the facility entrance. The students that were still there, defending themselves, were relieved that the others made it back safely. They were quickly worried, however, when they saw the absence of a metallic student.
"Where's Midoriya?" Aizawa asked, while running over to the group. No one answered the teacher, because no one dared to voice what they had to witness.
"Midoriya is still in the mountain zone, he's fending off some villains." Yaoyorozu said, hoping that she wouldn't have to say the things that she wanted to avoid. Aizawa's worry quickly faded away, as he said.
"Very well. He'll be back as soon as the villain has told him what he wanted to know." Before turning back to the battlefield. Yaoyorozu was surprised that Aizawa had such confidence in Midoriya's abilities, although she shouldn't have been, but she still couldn't shake this feeling.
She couldn't shake that Midoriya wasn't okay, and that the opponent he was facing was not something he was meant to handle.
"Sir, I don't think that he'll be okay." Yaoyorozu then said, sounding very worried. Aizawa turned towards her confused, as she continued.
"The person he's facing, it's as if he knew him. He acted as if he and Midoriya were comrades, like they used to work together. Not only that, but he holds a weapon of mass destruction." With a worried tone. Aizawa could feel how bad this was. He couldn't say for certain that it was what he thought it was, but he just couldn't shake the unease.
"Did either of them mention something odd, an organisation perhaps?" Aizawa asked, hoping that Yaoyorozu couldn't answer this question. The black-haired girl thought for a second, until she answered.
"Midoriya mentioned something about having destroyed them already, and the villain answered by saying that they were rebuilding and spreading all over the world... I think they mentioned something called 'Cyberbourne'... "
Aizawa froze in place now. The thing he feared had come true. He hadn't seen Cyberbourne with his own eyes, but what he heard about them was the very definition of horrible.
The tired teacher was about to shout something in panic, but was interrupted by the sound of cold clapping. Aizawa stopped himself, for it was now too late to escape.
"Well done ponytail, you have ears. Perhaps you'd make a fine addition to the team." Someone said, and most of the students recognised the voice from before.
Everyone turned to face the speaker, and saw the same man in robotic armor with green spirals all over him. Aizawa could feel the evil that was spilling from this man, but he also felt something else. He felt like he recognised him from somewhere, like he used to know him.
Everyone stared intensely at the villain, as Aizawa spoke up.
"Who are you, and where's Midoriya?" The tired teacher shouted, sounding angry. The villain didn't even budge, as he giggled and answered.
