The worst thing that happens to people outside doesn't matter, so I'm not going to write it all down if you don't really mind. It's unimportant. But if you want to know then watch the movie.
I didn't, it was far too scary for me.
The type of people that become like the ones that are outside, are more than Monsters.
They are the night.
Most people choose natural deaths rather than walk into the night, dying in their homes in their old age. Most people don't realize that once you die in your home the only place to be buried is outside.
One of their loved ones always had to go with them.
Usually the adults would go first. Sometimes they chose the children however.
Which is even scarier if you ask me.
