"Armin!"

The blonde boy groaned in annoyance, placing his book down on a table in the hall. He pulled up a fake smile when he felt familiar arms wrapped around his neck from behind. It belonged to (Y/n).

(Y/n) was a beautiful young girl with smooth (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes, who would always greet her friends and superiors every morning and whenever she passes them. Everyone in Survey Corps loved the bright girl, except for Armin. Everyone ships you and Armin together. They think you two are the cutest couple.

(Y/n) giggled, putting her chin on the male's shoulder. She smiled from across her and Armin.

"Good morning Eren! Good morning Mikasa!" She greeted the brunette boy and raven-haired girl.

Eren smiled brightly, while Mikasa gave her a small smile.

"Good morning (Y/n)!" Eren greeted her back.

She nuzzled her face on Armin's neck, making the blonde uncomfortable, unknown to the happy girl. She looked down at the book he was reading.

"What's the book about, Armin?" She asked with interest.

"I'm still trying to figure out what it is. I'll tell you later," Armin muttered.

"Alrighty!" Her eyes widened, remembering something, "Oh! I have to give you something later. I'll see you guys later." She waved to the group, going to sit with Jean and Connie.

When she was out of ear-shot, Armin clutched his blonde locks, his eye twitching.

"You alright, Armin?" Eren asked his blond best friend.

"I'll tell you in the boys' dorms later."

~*~*~*~*~* Later that day, after dinner ~*~*~*~*~*

(Y/n) happily skipped towards the boys' dorms holding a wrapped gift in her hands. She reached Armin's door, about to knock, until she heard her name was mentioned. She knew it was wrong to eavesdrop on a conversation, but she couldn't help it. She leaned her ear on the door, listening to their conversation.

"What about (Y/n)?" She heard Eren ask in confusion.

"She's a nice girl, Eren," Armin started, making (Y/n) smile, her heart fluttered, but the next thing she heard broke her heart as her smile faltered.

"But she's so clingy and annoying! It's making me go insane! I get it that she's interested in books, but does she always have to go to me?! Doesn't she know I need space for myself? If she wants to talk about books, she could go to anyone like you, Reiner, Bertholdt, Sasha, Annie, Mikasa, even Jean could listen to her rant. I...want her to leave me alone."

On the other side of the door, (Y/n) ran away with tears spilling from her face. She stopped at the door and knocked.

"Name and Business," a voice said from the other side of the door.

(Y/n) ignored it and went inside the office room. The office room belonged to Levi Ackerman, the captain of the Survey Corps.

She burst into tears, kneeling on the floor, her head rested on the thigh of Levi. Her tears were wetting his pant leg.

"Oi, why are you crying?"

(Y/n) lifted her face, her bloodshot eyes met, imitating light grey orbs.

"He said I was clingy and annoying," she sniffled.

Levi sighed, petting the girl's head softly, handing her tissue to wipe away her tears.

"It'll be okay, (Y/n). Take your time to heal."

~*~*~*~*~* The Next Morning ~*~*~*~*~*

Everyone in the hall was chatting, and the door opened to reveal (Y/n).
