Pete, well Maverick caught on really quick when he heard Ice Man's comments about being dangerous.
Pete wasn't really having it. He'd been exhausted, sweaty and overall overwhelmed by what was going on his life at that current moment. Himself, along with his really close friend managed to make it to Top Gun.
He wasn't willing to let Ice Man say something like that to stop him dead in his tracks.
With a quick raise of his hand to only use his other one to simply yet casually brush his hand onto the other's shoulder to only prove a clear point but was mesmerized by Ice Man's eyes to other facial to nearly body features to straight to his face to his lips to back into his eyes. It was clear that Maverick was checking him out that decided to tone it down a notch and simply quoted, "That's right, Ice...Man, I am dangerous."
That's when Ice Man clicked his teeth together to snap Mav back into reality but yet they both caught on really quick. They were both gazing into each other's eyes.
