Soul Fires is a sequel story from When The Ice Met Fire. This story is requested by one of my fans that wanted to know how the story of Kunlun and the previous ghost kings that caused the current ghost kings got that curse which can't be closed to the reincarnation of Kunlun, Zhao Yunlan. I started the story with the chapter of flashback about Shen Wei and Yezhun are cured as Zillah was dead. Then, I made Kunlun talked with Nuwa in his palace about the current ghost kings and his reincarnation. Then for the second chapter, I rewinded back Kunlun's observation on the lifes of new ghost kings and Zhao Yunlan. Kunlun saw the ghost kings were born and the parents were happy to get the boys twin. But then the twin cried made Kunlun felt weird and he observed surrounding just to see his reincarnation was born too just the next of the ward. Kunlun felt weird for that because supposedly the twin will not hurt for his reincarnation is closed to that twin if his soul fires with that twin. But unknowingly to him Guanyin failed in giving those soul fires to that twin during the reincarnation process. Kunlun sent those soul fires after he knot those wrapped soul fires with the orbs to the pendants to that twin. As the parent accepted those pendants, they decided to meet with the monk as Kunlun sent the memory for them to do. But unknowingly to Kunlun that Yan Wang got the souls of the parents caused that twin lost their parents and they were sent to the orphanage. They were grown up in that orphanage together with Chu and Congbo and then they separated when Yezhun was adopted to Wu family and then was sold to the foreign family. Since that Yezhun was lived like a hell but Zhujiu saved him and took care of him. But then, Kunlun summoned him and awakened him as ghost face. Yezhun started to find his brother, Shen Wei in his country and they reunited as planned by Kunlun. Kunlun didn't want to make Yezhun hates Shen Wei like the previous ghost face hated ghost slayer because of Zillah. That's because Zillah still tried to get ghost face even the reincarnation through Zhujiu. Kunlun helped them to be united and also to make Zhao Yunlan can love Shen Wei back. Kunlun involved in their life made Nuwa worried to Kunlun as the deities can't involve with the humans life. Kunlun remembered how the ghost face killed his lover, ghost slayer because of Zillah. That bad deity, Zillah kept influencing the mind of ghost face to hate ghost slayer made ghost face followed Zillah's plan to stab ghost slayer with the ice cone to kill the babies of ghost slayer but unknowingly to ghost face that Zillah cursed that ice cone caused ghost slayer died as well as the babies. Kunlun got to know that incident and he killed ghost face that also pregnant of Zillah's babies when Zillah raped ghost face on that night with the lie that Kunlun raped ghost face. As ghost face believed on Zillah, he thought he is pregnant of Kunlun's babies but then he was died with the killed by Kunlun. As Kunlun got to know from his lover that Zillah planned that, he killed Zillah. Guanyin took away the souls of them to be reincarnated but Nuwa took away the body and soul of Zillah as the emperor prevented to reincarnate Zillah. But Nuwa was influenced by Zillah's soul and she asked the dragon of Kunlun, Hun to revive back Zillah and brought Zillah to the place where no one can find him as Zillah promised to be good. But who knows he lied and broke the deal with Nuwa when he found the current ghost face and he tried to kill Yezhun to create his own ghost face with the kidnapping the students to impregnate those students to create his own ghost face. Kunlun was mad and he made Zhao Yunlan met with Shen Wei for that missing students and they work together for that case. The journey of Zhao Yunlan with Shen Wei and Yezhun continued as in the story of When The Ice Met Fire and they bought a house to live together with Yezhun, Rong and their kids as well as with the leader of flowers tribe, Ying. I continued the story in this book with the death of Shen Wei, Yezhun and Zhao Yunlan to welcome back the original ghost kings and Kunlun. As the ghost kings are alive back but lost the memories, then Kunlun also got his soul fires back and he can alive without a transparency body anymore. They took over the place of the parents for the kids with the help of Rong and the other deities. The kids can accept them with opening heart and they live together with Weilan and Mianmian, the sons of Shen Wei and Yezhun who took over the work as ghost kings under Yan Wang. Since that, they are living happily ever after. This story just 20++ chapters if I am not mistaken and mostly I put just some parts of their journey in the sequel story. The rest I focussed on the before and after the journey in the story of When The Ice Met Fire.

For the remake of this Soul Fires story, I combined the story in the remake story of When Ice Met Fire. But still the plot in the remake story is same as the old story. In this story I changed the characters of Wei and Yezhun as the girls to partner them with Zhao Yunlan and Rong. I also changed a little bit of the story flows to suit with ths situation. And sorry that I removed all the detail intimate scenes in the old story for this remake story. Like I said, I can't write BL stories anymore. So I hope you can understand my intention to change their characters. However in this remake story, I combined both the old story with this title and also the old sequel story with the title of When The Ice Met Fire. I write in the same remake story. So in this remake story, there is a flashback and also the story from Kunlun's side. This story is still going on till now on 18th October 2023. And will be finished soon. You can read this remake story if you want to know how I changed their characters and story flow. This remake story will be the last remake story I will publish for your read in this account before I will be idle and take a rest from writing for a while after I finished with the new story of Love At First Sight.
