•chapter 5•

"There you are! Where did you run off to?" Daphne asked.

"Umm" I tried to think of an excuse. I didn't have a drink so I can't say i was getting one.

"I tried to find the drinks table but got lost" I said quickly.

"Okay" she said unconvinced.

She dragged me to get a drink. We danced for a while and then ended up in a circle of people playing truth or dare. I sat next to daphne and a hufflepuff boy named Cedric.

"New girl... Artemis is it? truth or dare?" Astoria asked sitting on a boys lap.

"Truth"

"Why did you get expelled from your last school?" She asked.

"I got into a fight with my best friend" I shrugged.

"Physical?" The boy she was sat on asked... I believe he was called Adrian.

I nodded in response.

"What did she do?" Astoria asked again slightly intrigued.

"Told everyone my secret" I said daphne held my hand and gave it a squeeze.

"What's your secret?" She leaned forward.

I was about to answer. I have no idea why maybe she was persuasive or maybe I'm more intoxicated than I thought.

Daphne spoke before I could let a word slip out. "That's more than enough truths" she seethed.

I hadn't told her. I don't plan to tell anyone but if I do it would be her.

"Fine" Astoria rolled her eyes and continued the game.

"Daphne truth or dare?" Adrian asked.

Draco never left the party he stood in the corner leant up a pillar.

"Dare" daphne replied.

The boy smirked before saying "I dare you to kiss... Artemis"

I turned to face her quickly glancing at draco who looked intrigued. He was close enough to hear everything but far enough away that he didn't draw attention to himself.

Me cheeks heat up at the sight of him after what ever that was that happened before.

"Are you ok with this?" She asked.

We were breathing the same air. She smelled of flower fields. It was strange and I couldn't help but wonder how.

I quickly nodded and kissed her. It was a long kiss. Her hand traveled up my body to the back of my neck. She scrunched up my hair in her hand, pulling me closer.

I hummed into the kiss as she slid her tongue into my mouth.

She pecked my lips once more then pulled away.

I don't know if it was the alcohol but I wasn't fazed at all. All I could think ab was how ive had my first kiss with a boy and a girl tonight... I found it quite amusing.

I looked In the spot Draco was in but he wasn't there... or anywhere in fact.

Somebody's were mumbling about the kiss and how it was 'hot' but u blocked them out. Immature.

I started giggling at the thought and I was dragged to my feet by Daphne.

"Come in let's go to bed" she said in a sing song voice.

As we left there were a trail of "ooo" and some other silly comments.

Daphne flipped them off and we kept walking.
