She felt a sharp pain in her head as she tried to wake up. As soon as she opened her eyes, she was welcomed by the blue sky. The sun's ray stung her skin. Soon, she heard unfamiliar sounds. There goes the sound that seems like the sound of a beast charging towards her. The last thing she remembered was falling from the cliff.
Pair of strong arms picked her from the busy street. She winced feeling some broken bones. "You're quite beaten. I'll accompany you in the hospital", the person's slightly hoarse voice and yet a concerned one makes her feel like trusting the person. She was about to close her eyes but realized how she lowered her guard. She pushed the man away having her fall on the ground. "I'm not going to be tricked by you", Eleanor furrowed her brow. She struggled to stand but the man insisted to assist her.
"You're a difficult one. It's clear that you need some help here", the lad with an ash-grey hair sighed. She felt like she recognizes his face from somewhere. Looking around, she felt dizzy looking at all the peculiar creatures as well as towering buildings she never saw in her entire life.
Hospital
The doctor assured him that she had a mild concussion. Although, she will be staying in the hospital for few more days to fix the broken bones from her arms. It was a miracle that she survived a seemingly hard fall. The doctor theorized that she leaped to her death.
After some time, Eleanor opened her eyes again. All she knew was that she's reaping punishment from all the misfortune she brought upon the people she had been belittling. "Awake now?", she heard the same voice and looked in the direction where it was coming from. The ash-grey haired was reading a book near the window. "What's with that arrogant look. I'm not sure where I am now but I am a high-ranking noble. Go get a carriage. I need to report this to my father. Someone tried to kill me", Eleanor crossed her arms but winced once more as she felt sore in her body.
"The doctor said you shouldn't be moving. Who's the one arrogant here? You owe me your life. Well, I guess you hit your head quite hard for your reality to be distorted", the lad stood up and closed the book he was ready. "You don't know who you are dealing with. I don't need to repeat what I had said", Eleanor raised her chin. "I'm going to attend my afternoon class. Here's my number. If you need something, you can ask the nurse to call me", the lad dropped a piece of paper on the table next to Eleanor.
"Did you just ignored what I said?", Eleanor's eye twitched. The lad didn't turn around even if she threw tantrums. She bit her lip and let out a deep breath. The hospital room seemed foreign to her. The floor was shiny. Even if she asked her servants to polish her room's floor, it wouldn't be neat looking and shiny as the tiles. She finally realized the IV on her wrist. "What are they doing with my body?", Eleanor panicked and tried to remove it. A nurse passed by and saw her attempt to remove it. "Miss, you shouldn't be removing your IV", the nurse grabbed on her wrist. "Don't touch me with your filthy hands", Eleanor roared. After some time, four nurses sighed as they were able to pin Eleanor down. They used tranquilizers to calm her.
A few hours after...
Corridor
"Jeanne was wondering what kind of pet you had at home. You don't usually head home early", another man walked behind the ash-grey head. "What do you take me for, Zion? Your butler might be worried that you're not yet home", the ash-grey head clicked his tongue knowing that Zion's father will be calling in a minute. His phone rang and his guess was right. He explained that Zion wanted to tag along in the hospital.
Before they reach the room, random things are flying out of the room. "We already injected few shots on her. If we give another one, she'll overdose", the nurses felt like crying after being insulted. "One thing after another", the ash-grey head massaged his temple. "Gino, did you pick some random dude in the street?", Zion sighed.
"Sir. The lady you brought this morning had been rampaging since she woke up", the nurse bowed very low. "My apologies on this", Gino walked past her.
Inside the Room
Eleanor panicked since they injected something in her that made her dizzy. Are they trying to kill her? She stopped throwing things as soon as Gino entered. "Hey, get me out of here. They're trying to kill me", Eleanor's eyes looked teary. "This is a hospital. They'd be sued if they try to do that", Gino cleaned the mess she made. "Are you alright?", Zion entered after being worried.
Eleanor's eyes widened. She mustered all her strength to get up. She dropped to the floor as soon as she tried to walk. Regardless, she crawled towards Zion. "Your Highness. You came for me, right? I don't know what happened to your hair and why it was dyed black but you're here to save me, right?", Eleanor cried. Zion was puzzled about who Xylan was and he never met this woman. He needs to admit that she looked outstanding but he doesn't recall meeting someone like her. Zion flushed when he remembered being called his highness.
Zion reached out his hand and Eleanor happily took it. "Oh. So you were startled when they started injecting tranquilizers. You're supposed to sit still and wait for your wounds to heal", Gino explained. "I don't need your opinion, low-life. The prince is already here. I thought you hated me. I'm just glad to see you. I've been panicking since there are so many things I don't understand in his place", Eleanor hugged Zion. It shocked the lad. The sweet fragrance coming from her hair made him flush more.
