"Come on guys! It's this cool Art Museum down the streets! Pretty please!" Gwen begged. She had been waiting for months for the opening and it was here, plus she had entry tickets! The only problem was here friends.
Neither of them thought of an Art Museum as 'fun'. To Bridgette, fun was surfing some waves with her boyfriend Geoff. To Courtney, well..that was another matter. All she had to do was convince them to go. Cause there was no way her mother was letting a 15-year-old Gwen go out alone.
"Gwen, even I think this is boring. That's saying something!" Courtney groaned. The brunette, never really understood Gwen's love for art. Why not get a job like an accountant? Sales representative? That can actually pay bills.
"I love you Gwen but come on! Waiting in line for almost four hours just to look at paint of a canvas?" Bridgette rolled onto her back. Her blonde hair was piled messily on top of her head in a weak attempt of a ponytail.
Gwen wanted to beat them with a pillow. This was one of the biggest art museums in New York! Just looking was a luxury! Actually getting to talk to the artist's themselves!? Once in a lifetime chance!
"Ughhh! Fine! I guess I'll come. Nothing better to do." Courtney sighed, finally giving in. Gwen pulled her into a tight bear hug.
"Do that again and I may rethink my choices," she pushed Gwen off. Wasn't much for touchy-touchy.
"Sorry! What about you Bridge?" Gwen was now glowing. Woo-hoo! Art museum here I come!
"Is there a choice?" Bridgette now pushed herself up, so she was sitting down. She looked between Courtney and Gwen.
"Nope!"
"Fine..."
"How the hell did you convince us to come again?" Bridgette sighed, looking at her watch for the tenth time. She honestly was starving and could go for some sushi.
"Because you love me~" Gwen sang, bouncing from one leg to another. She was just that excited!
"No I don't," Courtney grumbled, mouth full from eating her hot dog. She scrolled through her phone, uninterested in the buzz around her.
"How the hell did you get that!? I'm starving!" Bridgette whined. She was sure if you listened closely, you could hear her stomach growling. She reached for some but Courtney swatted her hand.
"Some guy was selling food and walked pass. And aren't you supposed to be vegan Blondie?" She grinned at Bridgette's dumbstruck expression. The blonde continued to whine. They really did look like an odd trio right now. One goth bouncing from one leg to the other, a prep who honestly couldn't give less and one whining blonde surfer girl.
But that was who they were.
(Short but i love me some Bridgette, Gwen and Courtney friendship)
