Chapter 21 [End of main story]

Aya's pov
I rushed downstairs after washing up as I saw taehyung. He warmly smiled at me as I smiled back. My heart rate increased as I came closer. "Wanna head to the bridge? There's a better view" he asked and I agreed. We walked together as my feet throbbed in pain.
Taehyung suddenly intertwined his fingers with mine as I blushed. I don't care what anyone says , he is all I need.
We watched the fireworks as I looked at his beautiful side figure. I cupped his face and chuckled. "Why are you so handsome?" I asked as his ears became red."Yerin.." he called out and I hummed in response. His cheeks still in my grasp. "I need you to promise me that you'll hold my hand whenever I'm scared" he said as I nodded "yeah okay". He held my hand which was still grabbing his face. I looked around and then looked at him, "what are you scared of??" I asked as he chuckled. "I'm scared if I let your hand go, you'll dissapear". He was right. That's what I did everytime. I smiled as I pulled his hand and pecked it. "I'm not going anywhere". The fireworks ended as we went to grab something to eat.

I ate my ice cream and he had hot chocolate. "Isn't it too cold for ice cream?" He asked as I took a bite. "My mouth's cold" I said as he smirked "want me to warm it up for you?" I blushed "y-yes" I stuttered as he suddenly handed me his hot chocolate. My cheeks flushed.

I shook my perverted thoughts away as taehyung looked at me. "This is what you meant right??" He asked as I took a sip of his drink. "S-sure, yup. Definitely" I was about to give him the drink back as he chuckled and pulled me into a kiss.
His mouth was warm and minty. I kissed him back and blushed.
Unni was right... people fall in love without reason, without even wanting to.
I don't care what the original novel had anymore. Even though I'm being selfish as long as he is by my side, I don't care about anything.

"Hey look at that" I pointed out at the matching bracelets. "Wanna vibe?" I joked as taehyung actually went ahead and bought that.I laughed as I wore the red bracelet. Taehyung had the same one but with black beads. "It's enchanted" he said and I nodded sarcastically.

We walked to the hotel together as I stared at him. "Why are you staring at me like that?" He asked not even looking at me. "I think I just.... finally understood you" I said and he chuckled. "Sure sure"

I went back to my room as dasom soundly slept in her bed. I yawned as I crashed in mine.
It was such a long day. I gently closed my eyes. The faint sound of the water rushing echoed in my ears.
I got up and looked outside the window. I stared at the bridge and chuckled. Just when I saw a puppy. "How cute" I chuckled as the puppy climbed the bridge. "Eh he will fall like that though" I rushed out of my room and headed there as my leg felt broken. How many times did I even hurt my leg till now. The puppy was hanging at the edge as I write to grab it. "Just a little" I was on top of the railing. Got him , I tossed him inside the bridge just when my legs slipped and I fell into the water.

Huh...the water here wasn't deep though.
I went deep into the water as all outside voices fainted. I had no idea what was happening..
Am I dying...
Taehyung........sorry.... sorry.
I'm hurting you again....
Sorry..
A tear drop escaped my eyes and got mixed with the water.
Everything blacked out soon but I could still feel my body floating.

"Aya wake up dear" my eyes fluttered open as I saw my mother. "Mom...." I muttered. I was in a hospital bed and..
"Taehyung.." I muttered..
It can't be...no..
I am back in the real world...
