Nelly the Dragon squirmed in her bed as she struggled to finally get some rest. For over two hours, she tried to fall asleep. Her body yearned for a quiet slumber, yet her mind fought against it. Inside her thoughts, she could see various items of food bouncing around in her head, making her stomach loudly growl. The constant noise it made was not helping her situation. A growing sense of hunger had made itself known. This was what she deserved for having a light dinner. Even she admitted to herself that she could have probably eaten a little more. It certainly wouldn't have derailed the diet she had fought to maintain over the last few weeks.
Ugh...I need a snack. There's no harm in it...right?
After a few more squirms, she flung the blanket off of her body and sat up. and started for the kitchen.
She was slow and careful going through the apartment. A hand rested against her stomach at all times in an attempt to ease the hunger pangs. It wouldn't take her long to reach the recently-restocked fridge. Her stomach growled loudly again as if it sensed her arrival. Nelly sighed as she opened the door, almost being blinded by the bright light from within. After gathering her senses, she reached for the nearest snack.
She barely paid any attention to what she grabbed and stuffed into her hungry mouth. She just wanted to eat something in her tired daze. Whatever it was, it immediately felt pleasant to her senses. Her stomach growled in satisfaction, yet she felt it demanded more. She yawned.
Eh, another snack wouldn't hurt...
Another piece of food entered her maw. Once again, her eyes closed as she enjoyed the late-night treat. Then, without thinking, another piece, followed by another, entered her eager stomach. Concerns about her diet seemed to have vanished into the night air. With little thought, she had begun to eat everything that sat in the fridge. Sweet or savory, it was gone in moments. Even bottles of condiments weren't safe. She happily squirted them into her mouth in between bites. Her face quickly became stained as this sloppy dance proceeded. When an item was completely consumed, she carelessly tossed any container it might have been into the side. The noise she made echoed in the empty space.
Her stomach heaved and quivered with each engulfed snack. Quickly, it distended, growing heavy with pound after pound of snacks. Nelly leaned into the fridge, straining a shelf or two with her growing, now-protesting gut. She moaned and gasped during short breaks between the now-confirmed binge. She didn't care anymore. Her stomach wanted food. She was going to make sure it got all that it could handle. She paid little mind to how much it began to ache and resist. Her eating slowed, but the desire to force more down her throat remained fierce.
"Ugh...more...more..." She would continue to repeat the words as her trance intensified.
Larger helpings followed, accelerating the emptying of the once-full fridge. Just as she neared the end, she suddenly pulled out the freezer door below. As slammed it against her swollen stomach, making it scream and rumble as the aches suddenly intensified. A grunt and moan followed as she almost fell over. Her grip strengthened, almost ripping the compartment clean off. After fighting to keep her balance, the numerous frozen treats and meals were next to be eaten. Her eyes remained half-open as she slowly, yet messily ate all that she could. She could easily rest against her stomach as it pressed on the door. The shaking within would not stop. She would visibly wince from time to time. Yet, no matter how much her body told her to stop, she couldn't. No, her mind demanded this. This was the right thing to do.
As boxes and containers were tossed, a hand constantly rubbed against her ailing belly. Beyond full and straining to contain itself, she made a futile attempt to ease the aches. Sweat dripped from her brow as it was starting to become too much. Still, she continued until she had consumed everything in sight.
In the end, all that remained was a single, full gallon of milk. It would be the perfect way to finish this feast. She grasped the handle and struggled to hold it as she quietly twisted the top off and threw it to the side. She looked into the bottle, seeing the cold beverage slosh inside the container before looking at the fridge once more time. There was nothing left inside that she could eat. All that remained were stains, some crumbs, and various containers left in her wake. She groaned at the sight. There was a sense of pride within her despite all the aches and protests. Her mind had become so clouded that despite how tired and ill she felt, she still felt compelled to continue. Not a single thing could go to waste.
Her hand trembled as she lifted the jug and attempted to drink from it. Milk splashed against her sticky face, adding to the mess. She managed to take two heavy gulps before lowering her arm. After struggling to swallow, she gasped and moaned again. With a slow waddle, she began to aimlessly walk around the apartment. The sweating had not ceased and she felt a need to go to bed, but her trek would not end until she drank every last drop of milk. Two more gulps followed, as did a roar of protest from her stomach. Her eyes clenched shut as she felt a tremendous pressure in her stomach. She felt as if she could pop at any moment. It lasted for some time until an audible "pop" could indeed be heard. She gasped, feeling relieved as her eyes slowly looked down to her heavy stomach. Her belly button had become an outie, poking out proudly from the rest of her gut. "Yes..." She took another large gulp of milk to celebrate the moment.
Her walk continued for a while longer. She would manage to finish off the entire bottle. It lazily fell to the floor as she cradled her pained stomach. Nelly was at a loss for words. Despite her body's refusal to accept this, her mind was in a state of bliss.
At long last, fatigue finally overtook her. With a final sigh, she collapsed onto the floor, falling on her stomach. A belch and a long, aching groan followed. She wouldn't move again for the rest of the night. Nelly was truly at peace in her food-induced coma.
She would dream of another binge...one that could very well happen soon.
