Sweat ran down the teams faces, they huffed and lifted their heads trying to catch their breath. Their waters had a fog look on them from the heat. "It's brutal out here, man." Dianna groaned quietly to Hunter as he wiped his sweat. "Tell me about it." Hunter said in a low voice, Gavin and Luke dragged themselves over huffing. The entire teams eyes were trained on the coach as he sat in the shade drinking iced tea. "One more lap and we'll call it a day!" The coach said, noticing their exhaustion. The team groaned and started the lap, everyone took it slow not wanting to work up anymore body heat but started speeding up as the sun continued to blaze onto them. "I think i'm gonna go home with third degree burns from this shit!" Gavin exclaimed already noticing a light sunburn on his arms. The four had their shirts off as they walked through to the building to the entrance of the school where Hallie was picking them up. "Four miles in this heat, any longer i swear i could have a heat stroke." Luke growled while finishing the rest of his water. Dianna stayed quiet, not in the mood to talk. Hunter was quiet too, but not because he didn't want to talk. All their shirts were off leaving Dianna in her sports bra.

Hunters eyes traced her figure intently, blushing lightly. "Dude are you blushing?" Gavin said with a voice crack looking towards Hunter. "No you moron, i just ran four miles in 90 degree weather, i'm hot!" Hunter played it off fairly well, though Luke didn't buy it and just smirked at the floor. Hunter punched his shoulder as the walked towards Hallies car. "Hey kiddos, someone's gotta sit on someone's lap! My work boxes are on the one seat." Hallie said. Luke snagged passenger seat and Gavin sat in the middle, leaving Dianna to go on Hunters lap. It wasn't awkward since Luke, thankfully, led everyone in a conversation while Hallie passed out water bottles from a cooler she had brought. Hunter looked at Dianna and she caught his glance, both of them blushing. Dianna's phone dropped on the floor of the car, Gavin was fast asleep in the seat next to them. She moved to grab it but Hunters hands held her waist, she managed to get the phone and turned to face Hunter. "What was that for?" Dianna whispered to the flustered boy. "You can't move around that much when you're on my lap!" Hunter whispered in her ear. The girl furrowed her eyebrows, clearly confused. Hunter motioned down to his groined and she finally got the hint. She started to giggle and leaned her chest into his, putting her head in the crook of his neck. Hunter wrapped a securing arm around her waist and started to giggle himself, Luke snapped a quick picture and sent it to Gavin. Gavin, who was sleeping, jumped up and opened his phone with a smirk. "Hunter-" Gavin cooed, exaggerating the 'er' in his name. "What Gav?" Hunter asked looking over to the blonde boy. Gavin showed him the picture, his face blushed and he rolled his eyes. "Hunter and Didi sittin in a tree." Gavin mouthed to Hunter who put his hand over Gavins mouth. The car stopped and Dianna was fast asleep. Gavin got out of the car and went to Hunters side and picked Dianna up so Hunter could get out. "Where should i put her?" Gavin asked, looking down at the girl, moving his head so the sun wouldn't reach her eyes. "My rooms fine." Hunter said while closing the car door. Gavin nodded and went in the house while Luke held the door.

"You're jealous he's carrying her." Luke smirked at his friend. "Shut up, no i'm not!" Hunter tried to convince his friend, himself as well. "Yeah sure." Luke said sarcastically as he threw his things onto Hunters floor. "Can we watch the Backyardigans?" Gavin asked the brunettes as they walked in the room. Dianna was on Hunters bed and Gavin sat on the couch. "Yeah, can we?" Luke turned to Hunter who nodded and grabbed the remote.
