Jennie had decided that she'd go out with Jeon Jungkook, not date him, just casually hanging out. As sunbae and hoobae, one might think. But it's quite obvious that Jungkook's in it for something more.

And Jennie, doesn't really mind. She doesn't care.

Rather, what's bothering her is Kim Taehyung's sharp gaze and annoyed expression everytime he catches them together.

It goes like this:

Jungkook would fetch Jennie from her class hall at the end of each day, and they'd walk alongside together, with the younger mumbling about his sports antics. Like the jockhead that he is.

The chatterbox would probably be too dense and careless to notice but there's always a pining gaze following them.

If you look up from the pathway and upstairs into the lecture halls, you'd pretty much see Lisa staring down at the both of them. A sullen expression in her face.

And Jennie just can't help the satisfaction that dawns upon her everytime she sees it. It was not the sense of having something Lisa couldn't have, it's the anticipation.

Of what Lisa's gonna do next. Is she gonna give him up? Fight for him? How far is she willing to go?

She's using them for her own amusement and it's horrible but it's fun being the one in control, like a game master driving the players against the wall to see what they'd do.

One might think, don't you have anything better to do? Any new hobbies? And it's true, Jennie acknowledges it herself that it's that boredom that drives her. But she can't help herself, it's exciting.

It has been like that for a couple of days, Lisa's lonely figure looking down at them from the glass window.

Fall was in it's peak, the greenery and flowers around the pathway are brighter than ever. There was the sound of light chattering and Jungkook humming to some tune that Jennie is not familiar of.

She looks up to see Lisa in her usual spot, making the same expression. But this time a head was poking out of her shoulder, it was Taehyung and he looks displeased.

Their eyes meet and Jennie shudders at his cold gaze, turning her head away and trying to divert her attention to Jungkook who's now asking about some random movie.

With the anticipation of Lisa's next actions, she starts considering Taehyung's as well. Obviously seeing her peeping on the window like that, he's about to realize that she likes someone else.

What will the both of you do?

Come on, don't look at me like that. Though unintentionally, I'm doing you a favor here. She thinks to herself, Taehyung's scowling expression popping up in her head once more. Jennie winces.

"Are you alright? You're so spaced out these days." Jungkook points out, looking hurt.

The older gives him a forced smile. "I'm just not feeling well lately, sorry." She throws him a pitiful look and watches as his face falls into worry.

He hands her the hoodie that was hanging on his shoulder, slinking his arm around her waist and closing the space between them. "You shouldn't have come today, if so. Take care of yourself better." Jungkook scolds her with a soft voice but Jennie's attention was already somewhere else.

She looks back once more, a warm feeling swelling on her chest. This time, instead of the same sad dolly eyes, she was met with the sight of Taehyung's back facing the window. Jennie frowns.

She silently watches as he hovers over Lisa, as if trying to comfort or protect her from seeing something. Then it hits her.

He already knew that Lisa likes someone else.
