The Cafe

i woke up feeling a bit tired, which is strange, since i went to sleep early yesterday night.
pico and gf were still asleep, so i got up, got dressed and brushed my teeth, waiting for them to wake up.
*3 hours later...*
"psst! guys! wake up!"
i whisper to them.
"ugh... what time is it?" pico looked even more tired than me.
"it's 11:00am, fool!" i say to him.
"oh, $h1t!" pico immediately jumped up.
"mm, i'll be up in a minute..." gf said, still half-asleep.
"the new cafe is about to open!" i say to her.
gf's eyes are wide open. "oh! i completely forgot!"
once they're done getting ready, we ran to the car.
"i hope we won't be late! i don't want everything to be sold out by the time we get there!" gf says.
"don't worry, i think we'll be okay." pico tries to calm her down.
"yeah... i guess so." she says.
"it looks like it's right there!" i point at the small building named "lily's cafe."
"yup!" gf pulls into the parking lot.
once we went in, we were immediately greeted by piano music. "hey, this looks really nice!" pico says.

gf walks up to the counter. "hello, welcome to lily's cafe! how can i help you?" the woman at the counter asks. "hello, i would like 1 cakepop and 2 slices of cheesecake, please." gf says to the woman.
"coming right up!" within 5 minutes, she already has out stuff ready. "there you go! i hope you enjoy your stay!"

"wow! this cheesecake is really good!" pico says with a smile on his face.
"and this cakepop!" gf said.
"y'know, i'm glad we came here." i say.
"same here," pico says. "the food is great."
we were silent for almost a minute, then i broke it.
"i love you guys, y'all really have made my world a lot brighter."
both of them started to tear up. "aww, we love you too!" gf hugs me, and pico joins in.
i really am lucky to have people like them in my life.
