I woke up

"Ugh, I couldn't sleep barely last night.." I said as I rubbed my eyes and stretched

I got up and got ready

I headed down to the cafeteria

I went to the table and sat down, someone handed me my breakfast

"Thank you"

And they walked away

I quickly got done with my breakfast and I came back to my room to see a letter

"Who snuck in here, whatever"

I opened the letter

Hello, this is Erwin, commander of the scouts you have been advanced to the upper ranks of the scouts, congratulations! Glad to be working more with you! -Commander Erwin of the Scouts

Wait, huh? What in the hell. I need to get going.

I quickly gathered my things and quickly walked to commander Erwin

I got to him and I clenched my fist to my heart and my other fist to my back

"Sir, I thought you would probably want to see me?"

"Yes, now come"

I followed him

We went into a room which I think is his office when I walked in I seen another man with black, shiny hair, black suit and a cup of tea.

"Levi, this is y/n l/n, she is gonna be on your team"

"Mm, okay"

"Hello, Levi. Are you the Captain?"

"Yeah."

"Okay, well nice to meet you"

"Thanks"

Me and Erwin and Levi started talking about what it's like for me to be in the upper ranks

"Hey, Levi"

"What Erwin?"

"Did you know that y/n is up to your level and is still getting stronger?"

He got a surprised face

"Uh, no I didn't thanks for informing me. Now I can rely on her too support me more than those brats"

He looked at me

"And I will support you Levi, you're a very well good man."

He smiled

"Thanks, you're kinda fine yourself"

"I really appreciate you"

He looked at me again smiling and sipping his tea

"Okay, y/n and Levi. Show y/n around"

"Okay, let's go" Levi said while he was getting up

I followed him

"Hey, so uh. Try not to get too attached"

"Why, if you don't mind me asking?"

It got silent

"Well people who always cared about or I cared about always died"

"I'm to your level aren't I? So then I will not die"

After an hour we returned to Erwins office

"We're back" I said as I walked in and Levi was holding open the door
