Stressed

Stressed about this, stressed about that.

Parents screaming and yelling,

Tears rolling down my face with hatred.

Books overflowing my bookshelf

Looking for the right one to sooth me

Of this atrocious stress that overwhelms me.

Stressed about this, stressed about that,

The screaming continues to shake my walls

Opening the book, the stress disappears.

The words give me goose bumps while,

The screaming gives me longer hair follicles.

I'm still stressed about that and stressed about this.

The words and pags keep going,

The words are like the sun,

Hot and beautiful.

I love this book, it brings me happiness

Joy and stress free.

I am no longer stressed,

About this and that.
