Ana Brnabić took a deep breath. She was feeling anxious about her meeting later that day with the Chancellor of Germany. Prepared as she was, she still didn't think Angela Merkel would feel inclined to let her try to join the EU.

That, and she sorta thought Merkel was hot.

No, Brnabić thought to herself, trying to push those thoughts away. You can't think like this, Ana. Your bigger focus is on your speech today.

Nervously, she tapped her foot and looked at the clock. She was startled as she realized she only had thirty minutes before she had to leave to get on the plane.

Brnabić immediately ran to the restroom and splashed water on her face. Wake up! she thought. You haven't even seen Angela yet and you're already getting like this!

She stepped out of the restroom and immediately ran into one of the interns. "Ms. Brnabić!" the intern exclaimed. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine," Brnabić grunted.

"Your face is a bit wet," the intern replied, concerned.

"Yes, I know," Brnabić said, a bit coldly. "I'm fine." She then walked away.

The intern chased after Brnabić, frantically trying to talk to her. "Ms. Brnabić! We have to make sure you're ready for your meeting today."

Brnabić stopped. That was technically true; she did need to look good so she could impress Merkel, and also maybe have a chance at entering the EU.

She was going to have to save being rude to interns for another day.

The intern brought her to another room, where she looked at herself in the mirror for a moment. Is this enough? Brnabić thought to herself.

As she stepped onto the plane, journalists behind her, Brnabić tried to rehearse her speech in her mind. But every time she got to the part about Serbia joining the EU, she just thought of Merkel's beautiful blue eyes...

Stop being gay for one second and THINK! Brnabić screamed at herself in her mind.

It was in this moment that she suddenly got an idea.

What if I just don't give a damn about the speech, then try to seduce Angela later? I'd be able to convince her to do just about anything with the EU if I can only romance her first.

It was an interesting political strategy for sure, but Brnabić was sure she could pull it off.
