"So this is all just a game to you," Eda gritted out, through clenched teeth. As fleeting as a summer breeze, she turned her back abruptly and bolted for the front door, before Serkan could rebut.
"I swear, that woman will be the death of me," Serkan cursed under his breath, as he ran after her.
"Come back to the house, Eda, you will catch a chill from the rain," he yelled out, dashing out into the pouring rain to catch up to her.
"I didn't realize that you're that repulsed by me...you can't even stand to be in the same room with me, Eda?" He bellowed, hastening his steps, as he got close to her.
Serkan managed to grab a hold of Eda's arm, and with one brisk tug, he twirled her around to face him.
"What do you want from me, Serkan, huh, what do..."
Before Eda could utter another word, Serkan closed the distance between them, pulled her hard against his pounding chest and crushed his lips hard against her wet gaping mouth.
Eda's quivering drenched body felt like it had been tossed into an inferno, as desire seared through her veins. She pushed against Serkan's rock hard chest as vigorously as she could, in retaliation and stumbled back, blinking the raindrops from her eyes.
"What do you think you're doing, Serkan? Is this all part of your game?" she barked, her eyes blazing with anger.
As they stood staring at each other, their mood shifted. There was no denying that they both felt it simultaneously. Tension crackled the air around them. In the stillness of the night, Serkan could hear his heart thumping erratically against his rib cage.
"Eda, do you hate me?" he probed, his eyes searching her face, desperately looking for any telltale sign that would suggest otherwise.
Serkan was like a bull behind a latched gate, waiting in anticipation, as he watched the matador fling a red cape around him, teasing him, baiting him. Eda wanted to fling open the gate and see him charge, unrestrained.
She looked up at him defiantly through her wet lashes and their gazes locked. Eda no longer felt the chill from the summer rain. The passion she saw incinerating in Serkan's eyes ignited emotions within her that she'd fervently tried to suppress.
It was pretty insane how Eda's mood changed from wanting to strangle Serkan, a moment earlier, to wanting to be possessed by his warm embrace, to be kissed like she'd never been kissed before. Even though hesitant, Eda realized that in the throws of passion, she was defenseless against Serkan.
When Eda unconsciously bit her bottom lip in perturbation, a deep groan escaped Serkan, louder than he'd intended for it to be.
"I don't hate you," she muttered softly, just loud enough for him to hear.
"Eda..." Serkan's voice was strained.
His chest heaved up and down underneath his soaking wet shirt, and his breathing became ragged. He took a tentative step and closed the distance between them - their drenched skin touched. The close proximity made Serkan's pulse react uncontrollably. The muscles in his jaw flexed, he closed his eyes and let out a soft muffled moan.
A frown made Serkan's wet brows furrow. His face turned into deep concentration. He swiped the rain from his eyes as his mouth plummeted Eda's trembling lips. The soft sensual whimper that escaped Eda, stoked the flame of desire within him. It gave him the indication that his kiss pleasured her.
A hot flash surged through the course of Eda's body, keeping her warm, as the tepid droplets flowed relentlessly from the raven sky.
"Just give me tonight," Serkan whispered.
"I need you, Eda," he pleaded.
Serkan and Eda were uncertain what tomorrow would bring, but they had tonight, all to themselves. He could no longer contain the desire he had for Eda. He would accept any part of her that she was willing to give him.
Eda looked up coyly from under her wet lashes and met his intense gaze. He scanned her gorgeous face and his eyes trailed to Eda's wet parted mouth. He noticed the internal debate reflected in her expressive eyes.
A wicked grin spread across Serkan's face. He entwined his fingers through Eda's long wet strands, tilted her head back, and lowered his mouth to hers, in a lingering passionate kiss.
In that untarnished moment, they felt like they were in a cocoon, secluded from the rest of the world. Their souls danced together during that one magical moment. The chaos that awaited them seemed inconsequential for that one fraction of time.
Serkan and Eda threw caution to the wind and satiated their pent-up desires. Just once, Serkan wanted to imagine that Eda was his for one night. The man Eda saw tonight was a completely different version from what she was accustomed to. The uptight, apprehensive and emotionally withdrawn man she knew became unhinged tonight. It was refreshing to see the passionate and caring side of Serkan. For that one unprecented moment, he listened to his heart and acted accordingly.Serkan sighed contently, kissed Eda's forehead tenderly, then planted a butterfly kiss on her half-closed eyelid. The passion between them was palpable, along with the love that has blossomed over time.
