Its eight o’clock and my alarm went off. I woke up and looked at my calendar. Its christmas Eve. On the calendar he crossed off December 24th. one more day in till christmas with a big excited smile. Mom yelled comedown stairs everyone were having family pictures. Leland’s older sister was is taking pictures of him by the tree. Mom said”It’s time to go to grandma’s to open presents.”Leland got his present first it was Elmo he loved his present.
Then everyone else got their toys. I went past the kitchen and saw mom and grandma in the kitchen cooking christmas eve dinner. My older sister asked mom and grandma if dinner was almost done. They said in a couple of minutes. It was dinner time. We ate ham, turkey, chicken wings, sweet potatoes, sweet corn, baked potatoes, and rolls. it was delicious. ( couple hours later) Then it was time for desert we had chocolate cake and banana bread and red velvet cake also strawberry pie. Then we made cookies for santa and wrote letters to him. Then we said good bye taking the freshly made cookies home. We were home 30 minutes later. It was exactly eight thirty on the clock. We went inside after unloading. My sister put the cookies on the table and my older sister poured a large glass of milk and everyone put their letters spread out on the table by the cookie and milk. Then it was bed time. We all said good night then fell fast a sleep. I woke up at 6 o ‘clock excited and crossed off december 25th. I sung its christmas over and over again. Then went down stairs and saw lots of presents under the tree. Then looked in the kitchen and saw a letter back from santa and bite marks on the cookies and saw a ton of hair from santa’s beard I was excited. We opened up the presents. I loved them all. My favorite one from my mom was a book. I like the book because it can help me in the future. But my favorite out of all the presents was the Elmo. Now I got my little stocking it was full of toy cars!! Christmas Is my favorite holiday. My sister Anne took crazy amounts of pictures with me. It was the best christmas ever. It was time to go to bed. I’ll miss christmas and can’t wait in till next year. New years is on it way. Yeah because we are going to have an awesome parties!
