Chapter ~ 2 ~ The Proposal

Girl: Today for real I thought that I was going to die, I don't know who was he. *she started thinking*.

Avu was walking towards the park waiting for Riyaz. When she heard footsteps, she turned around and saw Riyaz. There was a huge smile on her face.

Riyaz saw her and waved. Avu ran towards him and hugged him and he hugged her back. She broke the hug and smiled at him, even he smiled.

Riyaz: So, where do we have to go
Avu: What happened, Riyaz?
Avu: Are you alright? *she seemed tensed*

Riyaz was tensed, but tried to act normal.

Riyaz: Ya, it's just...

Saying this Riyaz placed his hand on his face.
Avu saw his hand and got worried. She took his hand and said...

Avu: What happened to your hand *worried tone*
Avu: Riyaz, how did you get hurt?

Riyaz got flashbacks on how he was fighting with the people on the boats.

Avu: Riyaz, answer me *she was almost in the verge of crying*

Riyaz: Uhh, nothing Avneet, our team lost the volleyball match. So I was upset, and got hurt. It's okay.
Avu: It's not okay.
Riyaz: It's okay, Avneet. Why did you call me here?? That's important.
Riyaz: Are you fine?
Avu: Yes, I am fine and anyways, when you are with me, everything seems fine. Uhh..... Riyaz

Saying this she sat down on her knees, looks up at him and smiles.

Riyaz: Avneet, what are you doing?
Avu: Riyaz, I never loved anyone in my life, except you. After meeting you, I felt  you are the one I love and you are the one I dreamt of. I can't stay away from you. I want to be with you, like how the soul is with the body. I want to spend a beautiful life with you. There will be you, me and our love. You know, every morning I want to see you face. Riyaz I want to be a part of your life. I want us to become one.

She pulled out a ring towards him. Riyaz was blushing and was actually suprised.
Avu: Will you marry me?
Random kid: Uncle, either say yes ir get moving. I will marry ma'am.

Listening to this Avneet and Riyaz started laughing.

Riyaz: Yaar, Avneet

He held her hand, and sat on his knees and kissed her hand

Avu: I love you Riyaz, I can do anything for you. I love you soo much.
Riyaz: I love you too. Avneet, you have no idea how lucky I am to have a girl like you love me. And this

With this, Riyaz's phone starts ringing.
Riyaz: Sorry

He saw the caller ID and hanged up the phone.

Riyaz: Soo sorry for this Avneet.

He got a message.

Message: Riyaz sir, agent Neha is ready to attend Siddharth's party tonight. Siddharth will smuggle diamonds during the party. You have to come soon.

Avu: What happened Riyaz
Riyaz: Nothing
Avu: Everything alright?
Avu: What happened?
Riyaz: Avneet, I need some time till this evening. I promise, I will answer all your questions. And I want to tell you something you don't know.
Avu: What is it? Are you married? You have children?
Riyaz: What? No, it's nothing like that Avneet. I have to finish an urgent work. I will meet you today night, okay?
Avu: At times nights become very long, Riyaz and life gets short. What if I die?
Riyaz: Nothing will happen to you. I will surely come to meet you. Please wait for me.

Avu nodded in a yes.

Avu: Okay, so same time, same place, where we often meet. I hope you won't forget.
Riyaz: I promise, And you know I don't promise. But when I do, I don't break my promise.

He kissed her on the forehead, and walked away from there.
Just then Avu's phone started ringing.

Avu: Yes Reem?
Reem: There is a big problem. I have booked two parties on the same day. I cant organize two parties at the same time. You have to help me yaar. Can you go to Siddharth Nigam's beach party. He is a big businessman of India.
