'Why Jay why? Why have you brought me to this cheap Indian restaurant! You know I prefer Italian!' Tanushree snapped at Jay.

'Babe, trust me, I spent half of this month's salary to bring you to this restaurant... in order to spent some special time with you in our anniversary...' Jay said.

'Oh.. Yeah, and you spent your other half of your salary tipping that waitress.' Tanushree said.

'Couldn't you see? She was pregnant and working hard to earn some money for her upcoming child.' Jay said.

'Oh.. yeah, you seem to know about her.. you pity on her more than you love me!' Tanushree said.

'Tanushree... ' Jay said.

'We've been dating for 3 years now, how could you do this to me?' Tanushree said.

'Tanushree?' Niharika said.

'Niharika?' Tanushree said.

Niharika's POV:-

'What's going on over here?' I said.

'Niharika, you won't believe what happened!' Tanushree said.

'What happened?' I said.

'You know Jay, he's my boyfriend. and today is our anniversary, yet you know what he did, he brought me to this cheap Indian restaurant and he also flirted with the waitress in front of me!' She said.

'That's not true... I was only tipping her..' Jay said.

As I looked at Jay, he immediately lowered his eyes to the ground as a sign of embarrassment.

I know this spoiled Tanushree. She always has to mess up everytime. That poor Jay must have prepared this special evening for her in their anniversary and yet...

I sighed and looked at Tanushree who was crossing her arms and then she noticed Siddhart beside me.

'Niharika, what are you doing here with Siddhart sir? Don't tell me that you're dating him!' Tanushree snapped at me.

Siddhart, who was watching all of this drama, spoke up.

'No, Miss Malhotra, we aren't dating, we just had a friendly dinner as we're going to work together for some time.'

Oh yeah, Tanushree said that she got a job at the Raichand Industries. The assistant of Siddhart Raichand.

'Fine... 'She said and turned to Jay.

'I am waiting for you at the car!' She said and walked angrily towards the parking lot.

'C'mon Miss Niharika, I'll drop you home.' Siddhart said that and went towards his car.

As soon as they both left. I looked at Jay and patted his shoulders.

'I apologize for what my sister did to you.' I said.

'Your what? Tanushree never told me that she had a sister.' He said.

'Ok.. stepsister maybe. But please don't be angry at her. She sometimes may act like a brat but she is not very bad at heart.' I said.

My brain was cussing me as I was lying to Jay. Poor boy, he has to bear all the consequences of dating a gold digger.

'It's alright Miss Niharika, I am used to this. ' He said.

'Ok.. See you.' I said.

'Yeah.' He said and we both walked towards the parking lot.

I got into Siddhart's car. I was wishing that Siddhart won't ask me about Tanushree. We reached my home.
