You looked at him curled eyebrows and confused at the reason why he's becoming serious like this..was because of that?!

"Are you serious right now?"

"Very serious"

"I can see that, I don't you need to tell me that"

"You asked"

Your eyes become grim and he sighed knowing he's becoming annoying.

"So..are you two?.."

"Wait a minute...don't tell me you have a crush on me and when you saw me chatting together with Shinso you have a lot of questions in your mind that you don't know what to do with it and ended in a route of becoming pissed since you can't get answer..am I right?"

His eyes went wide, flushed cheeks can be shown that proves you're right and you sighed getting a headache from this. You crossed your arms and looked at him with an annoyed face.

"Seriously.. why not do this 'let's talk in private' thing earlier so you can have your answer and not be a bitch towards me starting to looked at me with pissed face out of nowhere and here I thought earlier I did something bad to you"

"Sorry about that..I didn't get a chance since I've met and talked to my father. That's also the main reason why I'm actually pissed"

You noticed his face really did become pissed when he mentioned his father. You didn't try to pry anything about it and just said

"Okay next time, you talk to me if you have a problem with me..not give me hints like I need to find it from it, since I'm not good when it comes to puzzles"

You were about to walk away when you noticed his face still looks pissed touching his left hand with his other hand while looking coldly at it. You bit your lip then you grabbed his shoulder and pushed him down to sit with you.

He's confused at what you're doing when you sat beside him on the hard concrete looking at him with your calm face.

"Do you..want to talk about it?"

His eyes went wide at what you just said giving a light smile on his face that you care.

"Do you want to confess you're a bipolar?"

He chuckled louder now than before and you wheezed at him making you laugh as well on what you said.

"You didn't need to tell me if you want to, it's just..most of the time not keeping things entirely yourself is a refreshing feeling"

You looked at him with a light smile on your face and he nodded as he decided to tell you about the abusive story on his father.

You were actually surprised on how open he is to tell you that, even when you just talked closely.. like now. He must've trusted you and you decided to not break that trust.

A few minutes after telling him the whole story to you, about his father abusing him when he was a kid, the lava bastard wanting to have a child to be a number 1 hero for him, earning a scar from his mother using a kettle, and so many more.

You stood up from your position and unsheathe your katana looking more serious than ever.

"Tell me the signal, and I'll kill him for you"

"Wait wha-"

"I can tolerate my parents but an abusive one is not someone I can forgive. Deciding to do that to their own child means they have a loose screws on their head"

You stared at the wall in front of you not noticing that the Ice Boy was slightly smiling like an appreciative smile from what you said.

You were about to turn to him when he slightly touched your fingertips but he decided to continue and gently grabbed it towards his, planting a kiss on the back of your hand.

You immediately turned red at what he did looking at him with wide eyes when he chuckled, catching a look of you now.

"You're really cute"

He smiled genuinely as you quickly pulled away your hand from his and hide it behind your back.

"Stop saying those things, you're the second person who told me that"

His genuine face before was replaced by a  scowl now tilting his head to the side while furrowing his eyebrows.

"Second person?"

Shit, did I step into a landmine?

"Who's the first person?"

"It's Shinso, my friend"

You looked at him straight in the eyes telling what you said was true and there's nothing to be made a fuss about it. He sighed and looked away.

"I trust you but I don't trust him"

"Why are you sounding like we're in a relationship? I just learned you have a crush towards me.. just literally now"

He turned to you and moved closer that made you step back a bit, he leaned closer to your face and said in his low voice.

"Then, can I do something to make us in a relationship?"

"W-Why are you asking me?"

His face was so close to you that you could both kiss accidentally if someone pushes you forward.

"Of course, I need your permission first before I make a move since it'll annoy you if I just did it without warning you"

"Warning?? What the heck you're gonna do?"

"Mm, I dunno. You'll find it out later"

His gaze went into your lips first before moving away finally letting you breathe because there's some good space now between the two of you.

You sighed and tried to change the topic.

"Hey by the way, are you just really planning to use your ice in the whole match?"

"Yeah, I told you the reason before didn't I?"

"Yeah..I know that but If I was your opponent next match, I would think you're not taking me seriously"

He fell silent as he understands what you're trying to say but as the boy he is, he would not like to use the quirk of his father to win..or so he thought.

"I just listened to your story before and I think you have every right to hate your father, but.."

You looked up to him with a serious face.

"That quirk is not his, it's yours now isn't it?"

His eyes widen as what you said, like it hit him like a truck and changed his whole perspective about his left side.

"So I would appreciate it if you use your left side, that way your quirk and yourself can be finally free of who you are really. Using your father's quirk doesn't mean you're doing what he wants, remember..it's your choice and you have the upperhand since it's your own quirk"

When you elaborated it further, he looked at his left hand now with different expression on his eyes. Not the resentment and coldness earlier but excitement to use it.

"Okie! Now you really owe me a food after this, let's go! My foods gonna get cold"

You patted his shoulder and he lightly smiled at himself before following you.

As you walk ahead first, you looked back to the tunnel rolling your eyes to someone who's there besides you and Ice Boy

So nosy.

You looked away and continue to walk towards the stall together with Ice Boy, when an angry bomb walked out of the tunnel looking at you guys.
