Kaidou x reader fluff

It's the first day of a new school year. You're nervous that you won't have any of your friends in your classes. You take a deep breath and open the door to your school.

You find your first class and walk in the door. You look for somewhere to sit and suddenly see your childhood best friend, Kaidou. He sees you too and waves for you to come sit next to him. You smile and are excited to have him in your class.

"Hi Y/N!"

"Kaidou! I'm so glad you're in this class too."

"Same here!"

You guys talk for most of that class and don't really pay that much attention to the teacher.

*Time skip to the end of class*

"So are you b-busy later?", Kaidou says blushing a little.

You think about how cute he looks when he's embarrassed.

"No I'm not, why?"

"Well I wanted to know if we could hang out together after school. If you w-want to of course."

"I would love too!", it made you happy that Kaidou wanted to spend time with you.

"Wait- really?!"

"Of course!", you definitely wouldn't turn down that offer. He said he'd text you when and where later. You said goodbye and went through the rest of the school day, excited for later.

*Time skip to when you're hanging out*

You arrive at his house and knock. You hear him run to the door and open it. He has a huge smile on his face. He welcomes you in and you guys head to his bedroom with snacks. You've been there many times before. You guys have been close friends since birth.

You both sit down on his bed. "Do you want to play a game?", he asks.

"Sure, how about Mario Kart?"

"Yeah!"

You guys play for a while but then get bored. You look over to see Kaidou looking all nervous. He glances at you and his cheeks are red.

"So, um... can I tell you something? It's been on my mind for a long time and I need to get it off my chest." He talks quietly and kind of mumbles his words.

"Yeah of course, anything." You were curious to see what he had to say.

"So I don't know how to really say this but every time I see you I get this feeling in my chest. I've always really admired you and thought you were gorgeous from the start." He looks down and fumbles with his fingers nervously. He's talking faster. "I- I think I like you. B-but if you don't that's totally okay and we can still be friends and I won't bring it up ever aga-"

You grab his face and smash your lips against his. He kisses back and you guys stay like that for some time. You then stop and look him right in the eyes.

"You're such a goof. I've liked you since we were kids but was too embarrassed to tell you."

"Seriously?"

"Yes seriously."

You both realize what you just did and blush and giggle.

"I want to stay with you forever."

"Me too, Kaidou."

"I love you Y/N." He whispers with a bright red face.

"I love you too Kaidou."

Alright so that's the end of my first story! It was just made up along the way so it's not great but whatever. It's also kind of cheesy and short lol. I don't know how often I'll update this but hopefully it won't take too long. Thanks for reading!
