Chapter 3

Emma POV
I looked through Shoyo's closet. Honestly, he has such a good body but doesn't have any clothes to show it (probably because of our homophobic mother). I rolled my eyes before going through his drawer.

The only girl clothes were my old ones from a year ago. I pull out the skirt and put it on. It's pretty short but I'm sure it'll be fine. I sneak into my mom's room and steal a bra. She's an itty bittie like me so it fits. Then I throw on one of Shoyo's sweaters. I look in the mirror and when I'm satisfied I slick back my hair into a low ponytail (*A/N I hate messy buns lol*).

I walk out of my room to see my mother and Natsu eating. "Where's my plate?", I ask her while hugging Natsu. "You can make your own breakfast. I'm too tired right now". I glare at her and walk to the fridge. "How was your day yesterday, Natsu?", I asked, looking for some jelly. "Oh, it was fun. The teacher brought in her boyfriend who is a firefighter and he told us how to survive a fire". "That sounds like fun", I said to her, taking out the ingredients for a PB&J.

When I finish making the sandwich I grab my bag and Shoyo's coat. I'm about to step outside when I hear my mother say "Isn't that skirt too short. You're just begging for attention aren't you". I turn around to face her. "Listen you old hag this is all I had". She rolls her eyes. "Slut". I sigh and walk out the door.

~TIME SKIP~

When I arrived at the gate I saw Daichi, Suga, Asahi, and Becky walking ahead of me. "Daichi, Suga, Asahi, Becky hey". They all turned around. "Hey", they all replied. I ran up to them, my skirt riding up slightly to show more of my legs. I gave each of them a hug.

Daichi POV:
I was walking to school with Suga, Asahi, and Becky. "Maybe we should all hang out sometime", she asks all of us. I could see Asahi becoming nervous as she moved closer to him. "Sure we can all hang out. We can invite the rest of the team and the managers", I say trying to switch up the situation. "I was thinking just us". "Maybe some other time", Suga replies. She frowns and looks away. At first, I thought she was going to say something else until- "Daichi, Suga, Asahi, Becky hey". I turn around to see Emma behind us. "Hey", we all say (besides Becky). She's wearing a skirt with Shyoyo's jacket and sweater over it. When she runs towards us the skirt rides up, exposing more of her leg. I feel my face start to heat up and when I look at Suga and Asahi I see them blushing.

She gives us each a hug. She's so small and warm, I feel sad when she pulls away. "You shouldn't be wearing something so short", I say, trying not to look at her thighs. She tilts her head to the side and smirks. "Why are you looking at my legs captain". I say nothing. Asahi takes off his jacket and ties it around her waist. He says nothing but I see his ears go red.

Mei POV:
UGH. Emma is such a slut. I know she wore that skirt just to get the boy's attention. They're stupid if they can't see how much of a whore she is. They are all wrapped up in her little lie, it's disgusting. They all act like she's so special and it makes me sick to have to pretend to be her friend. I just have to keep pretending until we get to the training camp then I'll be able to set my plan in motion.

"Emma," I say with a sugary sweet tone of voice. I grab her arm and bring the two of us in front of the boys. "How about we hang out sometime, just us girls". I try my best to make my face as innocent as possible. "Sure", she says. Gosh her smile is so ugly, nothing compared to mine. "How about today after school"? "We have practice, remember", Suga chimed in. "Well, then how about after practice"? "Sure why not".

Emma POV:
We walked into the gym mostly silent. Everyone was already there when we arrived. "EMMA MY PRECIOUS KOHAI WHERE WERE YOU", Nishinoya came running up to me. "EMMA YOU LOOK SUPER GORGEOUS TODAY," Tanaka said coming behind him. I laughed and just walked past them. They followed behind me, both of them talking. "Oi shrimp! You really couldn't find a better outfit?" I roll my eyes and put up the middle finger. He snickers and walks away. "I think you look great", Yamaguchi says blushing. Wow, this man is making moves.

I got a great idea. I walk up to Yamaguchi and pull him into a hug. He tenses up but then relaxes into the hug

No One POV
For a second no one moved. They all stared in either shock or jealousy. Yamaguchi could be seen with a nervous smile on his face when Emma pulled away from the hug. Emma walked to the side of the gym and sat against the wall. Noya and Tanaka ran up to her, "WE WANT HUGS TOO"! Emma giggled. She took both of their hands and pulled them to the floor with her. With both of them on either side of her she pulled them into her. They both wrapped their arms around her.

"If anyone else wants a hug they can come get one", Emma said giggling. Noya and Tanaka hugged her tighter and glared at everyone. 'Stay Away!' is what they said with their eyes. Everyone ignored them. Tsukishima was the first one to step forward. He pulled Emma from the ground and leaned down to hug her. He smirked at everyone from behind Emma's back. Kageyama took this as a challenge and yanked poor Emma from Tsukishima's grasp. The two boys glared at each other with poor Emma trapped in Kageyama's arms.

Emma POV:
"Guys stop being so rough with her. She's a girl", Suga says. He pulls me into a soft embrace, he smells sweet like vanilla and laundry detergent. He smooths out my hair and pulls me closer. Out of the corner of my eye I see Asahi awkwardly standing by us. I figured he wanted a hug so I pulled away from Suga and walked towards him. "Do you want a hug", I asked. He nervously looked away. "Only if you want to". (*A/N AWWWWWW my heart*). I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him. He was stiff for a moment before relaxing into the hug.

"As team Captain I obviously should get one", Daichi said walking up to us. I smiled and jumped at him, wrapping my arms around his neck. He gives me a long hug before pulling away and lecturing me about randomly jumping on people. (*A/N anyone else want to hug Emma? Me too*). Since I couldn't play Volleyball I decided to help the managers.

~TIME SKIP~

It was the end of the day and practise was over. I was just about to start walking home with the other first years when someone tapped my shoulder. "Hey Emma, can the rest of the managers and I sleep over at your house". Becky, Yachi, and Kiyoko look at me with pleading eyes. "Ok ok just stop with the puppy dog eyes", I giggle.

I swing my arms around their shoulders and start walking to my house. "Hi-HINATA BOKE! WAIT UP'". I grab Becky and Yachi's hands and start running. (*A/N you know that one scene where Hinata drags Yachi to the train station. Imagine that *). I ran all the way back home with the rest of the team chasing me down. (*A/N she's a runner she's a trackstar😂*). When we reach my door I turn to see everyone panting.

No One POV
The boys all stood in front of Emma's house panting from the run, after all her house was on a hill. Right as they were about to scold her for running off Emma started laughing. The boy's only watched, small blushes creeping up their faces. They stayed there staring at the door even after Emma and the managers had gone inside. "Ok time to go", Daichi yelled at the boys. Then they all began their descent down the hill to their respective houses. It would be their last night before the training camp. The last night before everything started to go downhill.
