The tattered letter sat on the floor near the front door. Unread and uncared for. Saiki believed that Teruhashi and him were like two corner pieces from a puzzle. They would never fit and never connect. She was a nice girl on the outside but he didn't see anything in her.
- Saikis POV-
Who needs to listen to teruhashi. She's stuck up on the inside. Well never be a match. But to break her heart, would be to ruin her. We would never fit. My heart feels heavy..unusual Beacuse I don't get sick, it can't be anything serious. I must just be hungry... what do we have in the fridge...lettuce...steamed buns...tofu...Ah there coffee jelly. With a splash of milk-
*ding dong*
Well there goes the enjoyment of this delicious treat. I opened the door as it creaked..behind it stood...Teruhashi.
Why is my heart feeling more heavy at the sight. Of Teruhashi, it's almost like disappointment. No I'm sure it's just disappointment from not being able to eat
"Saiki, did you get my letter!?"
"Yeah sure did"
"Oh great-...Saiki why do you look so disappointed"
I saw her smile fade. I just couldn't match her energy. She began to walk away she had given up. It was over. I hurt her. I hurt her heart. I hurt someone who I promised myself I wouldn't. I didn't love the girl but I didn't want this.
