RUHANI'S POV

Locking my apartment I started walking towards Dhara maa's house which was at 15 minutes distance by walking. Keeping my hands in the pocket of my jacket as it was getting colder by night. The roads were almost empty except for some small shops which were almost about to close. While walking I felt like someone was following me and I slightly tuned to look if anyone was there but I did not find anyone behind me.

Ruhi idiot Koi nhi hai tere piche bss yeh sab jada action thriller series dekhne ka nateeja hai.( Ruhi nobody is behind you it is just the outcome of watching excess of action thriller series.) I said talking to myself.

I started speed walking so to quickly move out of this quiet street. Suddenly someone from behind covered my eyes. Holding his left arm which was on my eyes with my left arm and knocking my right arm backward with his ribs I turned quickly and then using my right arm I punched his sides and knocked his right knee with my right leg bending him on road . I lifted my arm to punch him on my face but that kidnapper held my hand tightly lifted his face.

"Tu " I said.(You) and released him.

" Haan mai.Tu pagal hai kya apne dost aese kaun maarta hai aur vo bhi jab dost army mai major ho. Aur maine tujhko self defence isliye nhi sikhaya tha ki tu mere per he try kare bewakoof. Iske liye mai tumhe jail mai daal va sakta ho. " Arjun said.(Yes me. Are you mad or What ? Who beats their friend so mercilessly and that too when he is a major in army. I taught you how to fight not to try it on me and for this I can put you behind bars."

He looked like he was in pain" Oh I am so sorry jun I didn't know it was you. Is it paining too much? I asked Arjun whom I call Jun.Moving close to him lifting his shirt to look at the damage I have done. The skin was little pinkish there looked like a bruise was forming, keeping my hands on his skin above his ribs to check for swelling.

" Is it paining anywhere else?" I asked.

"Yes here" He said showing his right side of the abdomen. I moved my arms from his ribs to his sides and applied some pressure using my hand to look for swelling or something

" I don't see any swelling or bruise there. Are you hurt anywhere else?" I asked Arjun

He removed my hand from the right side of his abdomen and moved to his chest and kept my hand just above his heart, keeping his hand above mine " Yes here. My heart is hurting very much after your rejection." He said looking directly into eyes seriously. I turned my guilty face towards another side not being able to see pain in his eyes. Suddenly he started laughing loudly bending over on his legs.

" Oh my God! Just look at your face. It is so funny." He said between his laughing session.

" Jun don't mess with me otherwise nobody will be able to save you from me this time. I'll beat you blue black that even Dhara maa will not be able to recognize you." I said lightly slapping him on his head and cheek.

" Ruhi stay away from me. You manner less girl is this how you should welcome your friend who has returned after 6 months from his duty and what dhara maa haan she is my mother she will take my side and not yours. You missy, you neither send even one letter in this 6 months nor came to drop me to the railway station. My junior always get irritated with the amount of letter and gift you send for me that everybody started asking me what happened to your crazy head?"

" I thought you don't want to talk to me after I turned you down and ran from there like a coward." I replied looking down on the street like it was the most interesting thing in the world.
