"Hello?"
A newly born deity stands at the front of an ageless room. They don't know how they got there, they don't even know who they are.
"There you are, darling." A booming voice sounds from the end of the room. The small deity looks up to see the face of a giant god smiling down at them.
The smaller thinks they should be scared, yet all they feel is calmness. The god offers her hand to them, and they let themselves be carried to the top of the room, now face to face with this god.
"I'm sure you're very confused." The god speaks again.
"I think I'd agree. Where am I?" They ask the god.
"You're in the heavens, young one. Just recently born from a dying star. I think you'll be called... Nova. Named after a supernova." Nova thinks that name suits them well.
"I like that name. I think it sounds nice. But, if my names Nova, what's yours?" Nova replies, fidgeting with their fingers as they speak.
"Me? Well, I go by many different names. But, you can call me Phoenix." The god Phoenix let's Nova back onto the floor.
"Now enough with introductions. I bet you're wanting to see just what we do up here. Come along with me, I'll show you."

Oh, how they now long for those much simpler times filled with feelings of safety and peace. What happened to the world they had sworn to look over?
--Went real small with this one but it sort of ties to that first story written because why not idk :/
