I guess my distraction didn't help at all, seeing how many growls were pointed in my direction. Honestly, I blame this whole fiasco on Jordan. If he hadn't insisted I try a new spell, I wouldn't be out here in the first place. Hmm. Where is he anyway? He was right behind me. I could sense he was nearby, but nowhere in sight. He better have a plan to get me out of this, because mine haven't exactly been going well.

NOTE: when this * is used around words, it's an internal conversation

*Get ready to release your energy* a voice sounded in my head.

*Jordan!* I mentally exclaimed. *Where the hell have you been?! I'm sort of in a pickle*

*I'm trying okay? It's not that simple but I do have a plan so keep your energy until I say so and then push it outwards at everyone and I'll come get you.*

I sighed, this was one hectic day. I brought my focus back to Kaden and Nicholas; they were arguing... about me... go figure. Right at this moment, Kaden and Nicholas were face to face with their fists clenched at their sides. I rolled my eyes, guys and their testosterone. I leaned against a tree and crossed my arms and legs. "Umm, guys? Yeah, I'm over here." Their heads snapped in my direction looking confused. "What exactly is it you guys want from me?"

Kaden scratched the back of his head and took a step closer to me, but I held out my hand to stop, "Oh no you don't buddy. If you're even on my side." Exasperated I threw my hands in the air, "You probably just want something from me too! ugh."

"No, you don't understand, but why would you? you know nothing about us or all the secrets out there. I'm just trying to protect you." This time Kaden pleaded with his eyes and stood his ground, letting me have some space to think.

After everything processed through my head, I smirked, realizing that he was talking about the supernatural world. He had absolutely no idea what I was, did he? Interesting, I could work this to my advantage and stall until Jordan got his lazy ass over here to help. I uncrossed my arms and legs and took a few steps forward, still smirking, and said, "Do you know what I am? I mean really and truly know?" Kaden had a confused look on his face, like he was thinking about what I meant, so I took the opportunity to address Nicholas, also. I walked over to him and dragged my fingers across his bronzed chest while saying, "How about you?" He shuddered and I cocked my head to the side while waiting for a response, but it never came. "I'm going to take that as a no. Although, I do have to say I'm surprised little ole me has rendered the big bad wolves speechless." At this, I got multiple growls, happy I finally got a response from them. "What, did I offend you guys? Aw I'm sorry," I said biting my lip.

Surprising me, little Kadey spoke up. "What exactly do you know?"

We both started walking to each other, meeting half way. I was so close, that I was touching his chest. *Get ready* Jordan called into my head. "You have no idea."

His grip tightened around my waist. "What are you talking about?"

*On 5* Jordan was counting down.

I leaned up on my tiptoes and whispered, "You have..."

*1...*

"No idea..."

*2...*

"What..."

*3...*

"I'm..."

*4...*

"Capable of."

*5!*

And that's when, all hell broke loose.

Hey, guys. I'm really sorry for not updating in a while, but I wasn't sure if I should continue or not. This story isn't my best writing and I figured I could just rewrite the whole thing and no one would really care anyway. But thanks to Jujubeelove, I decided to give it a shot. Thanks for being my first fan ever!

So, if you have anything you want to say, want me to fix, clarify, any ideas to add, etc. please feel free to tell me. I promise I won't be mad (:

Thanks,

Haley
