It was rather miraculous. The attack wasn't planned at all and it seemed like it was something meant for us. That's all that Tsuyu thought, but she knew that she couldn't trust her own judgment in this dangerous situation.

Everyone was supposed to fight together, but Tsuyu couldn't see anyone at all in the vicinity. The sudden crash from the pile of debris rushing from all sides had caused everyone to fly in multiple directions. Tsuyu was the only one able to plant herself on the surface of the solid ground because of her "enhanced" mucus. She regretted it a little because if she didn't do such a thing, would she be with at least someone in the destroyed area?

She placed her goggles on her eyes and pushed off the ground to get a better view of the place. There was so much smoke that she wasn't able to jump high enough. Her breathing stance started to decrease as she kept on jumping from block to block, trying to find at least one person.

But she couldn't. No one was visible from where she was standing.

"Midoriya! Ochaco! Iida!" Tsuyu yelled as she jumped one more time.

Landing on the ground felt uncomfortable once again. Where was everyone? Did they disappear? Or did they leave her behind?

Tsuyu shivered at the thought. Of course, that would be a thought no one would want to think about at all. But it could be plausible. She jumped again, and for once, Tsuyu was able to see outside the smoke. There was not much to see, but she was certain that the smoke was starting to clear up.

Looking behind, she decided to hop away in the opposite direction, knowing that the cause of the smoke would be the most affected. The speed of her hopping decreased as she tried to plow through the thickness of the substance, but she carried on anyway.

Calling their names again didn't work again. She tried calling out different names, names she thought she wouldn't say in a long time. But none of them worked at all. She stood up and looked around.

"...maybe...."

But just then, she saw someone. Someone awfully familiar to her through the smoke that was clearing up.

"Midoriya?!"

He was trying to stand up, blood all over his face, and his arm looked to be dislocated. It looked like he was giving up, from everything, until she saw someone else standing in front of him. Was he going to die?

Without any hesitation, without thinking about anything at all, she ran. Tsuyu ran towards him, continuously calling out his name. It seemed like he was able to hear her voice because he turned around to face her. His face was will with shock, worry, and relief?

And in an instant, before he was able to say anything to her and react differently, Tsuyu pushed him out of the way. When she dared to look up, Tsuyu was able to see his face without all the smoke surrounding them both. His eyes were widened when he realized that she had pushed him away. Away from death.

But even before Tsuyu was able to say anything else, she breathed out, and everything went black.
