1204 - 4th Crusade.

The crusaders made their way to the most beautiful jewel of Christianity, Constantinople. They sacked the city, dead bodies everywhere, buildings were ruined and most importantly, the dead also took their share from these ill doings.

Another nightmarish incident which left a huge damage on Constantinople's psychology. As if looting the precious materials from churches wasn't enough, these nasty people who carried God's name also did a huge disrespect to the dead emperors, even their tombs weren't spared.

Constantinople was made to watch whatever happened. He was forced to see his previous leaders' dead bodies, they were so perfectly preserved in their sarcophagi. Even if centuries passed, they still looked fine..

Some of them were buried with jewellery and crowns. Clothes with golden linings. All were robbed, bodies were left behind.

As if all these weren't enough, it was to open the sarcophagus of Justinian I. All his screams and begging fell to the deaf ears, they did it anyways and the capital city was forced to face his beloved emperor once again...

His body was also well preserved, his lifeless face was so... eternal. Immortal.

Constantinople looked at his face for a long time that felt like a century. Then a final, heart wrenching scream filled the place and everything went black, just like the souls of these knights...
