Nick tickled me as we rolled off the couch
"Ni...ck... st..oo..op!" I exclaimed while breaks in between because I was laughing so hard.
"Oh I'm sorry is that tickling you, let me fix that. " He answered.
He took his fingers and dug them even further making me laugh harder. He started laughing harder too because I was laughing so hard.
"Ni....ckkkk..." I yelled trying to override our laughing.
My mom walked in the room with a tray of fruits and veggies.
"Am I interrupting something?" My mom asked with a questioning look on her face.
"No ma'am, I just beat your daughter in wrestling." Nick replied as he took his hands off of me.
"Scarlet, come on you can beat him." My mom teased Nick.
"I have to make him feel like a man, and let him win." I said while poking Nick in the nose.
He gave me a smirk then turned to my mom.
"What have you brought out to us?" He asked while getting off the floor and walking over to her.
" Are you just going to leave me on the ground?" I yelled to him.
He turned and a devilish smirk came across his face.
"I have to make you feel like a women and let you get up on your own." He yelled back. Knowing that he just used my own words against me, I got up.
"You kids have fun, not to much fun though. I don't want to be a grandma until I'm sixty, love you scarlet." my mother said while grabbing her keys off the counter.
"We won't trust me. I love you too, see you soon." I replied while kissing my mom on the cheek. I watched as she exited the house. I ran towards Nick and jumped on his back. I squeezed my arms around him. He started to fall forward a bit.
"Looks like someone needs to go to the gym more often." I teased.
"Well maybe, my girlfriend should lay off the bacon." He snapped back.
"Well it is true I like bacon. I'm still fit and I bet I have more muscle then you." I joked.
"Your perfect the way you are." He replied in a soft tone.
I jumped off his back and leaned into his face and then grabbed a cucumber off the tray.
"Oh, come on, you can't just tease me like that." He groaned.
"Sorry the vegetable looked like a better option." I giggled.
He walked over to me slowly and put his hand on my waist. He started to lean and looked into my eyes. I couldn't resist him this time. Our lips were about to touch then he stopped and threw me to the couch.
"Doesn't feel so good when it's done to you." He teased.
"You ass." I laughed.
He walked over to me and pulled me up. He sat down on the couch and pulled me to sit on his lap. I sat down and put my forehead on his.
"I love you, Nick." I said in a soft tone.
"I love you more, Scarlet." He replied.
Still nothing. I don't feel anything when I tell Nick I love him. I heard that you are suppose to have butterflies every time you tell someone you love them. You are suppose to smile uncontrollably and not stop smiling for a while. Nothing. That has never happened to me with Nick. Even the first time, nothing. I liked him, he's really hot and he's so sweet, I just don't love him. I looked at him and just stared.
"Are you okay," He questioned me.
"Yeah, I'm just tired." I replied looking away from him. A tear fell down my cheek and Nick caught on.
"That's not what's wrong, because you wouldn't be crying." He argued. He put his hand on my jaw and pulled my head to him slowly. He took his thumb and whipped away the single tear.
"I'm just tired, Nick." I responded quickly.
"Okay if you say so, I can help you if you will tell me." He said.
I can't tell Nick what's wrong, because it will break his heart. It will tear him to pieces. He won't be the same. I felt pain, so he could be happy.
"Let's just watch a movie." I said while getting off his lap and rolling to the side of the couch.
