Nia's POV:

I thought today will be a good day but here everything was opposite. I mean, I'm just asking all the girls to stay away from Ritik, is it too much to ask for?

Here I can't even blame just girls when this idiot Ritik was not opposing any one of them. When Shriya hugged him, he immediately hugged her back as if his parents were not present here. He could have stopped her but no!

'But he never stopped you as well' my conscience mocked me. It was right because Ritik actually never stopped me. Maybe, he doesn't considers it a big thing. One more reason for me to get sad.

"Is she shriya?" Aashika asked. I nodded unwillingly and saw her telling something to Aashna aunty. She didn't looked impressed, not even a little bit, which was the only thing that made me happy. I'm glad aunty didn't like her!

"Dad." Kiara whined again. Kiara is the daughter of Abhi uncle and Sanjana aunty. Though she is younger than me, we both shared a great bond in past but then things changed. Now we are like known strangers, even though we come face to face every now and then because of our frequent family meets, we prefer to stay away. Today, I don't know what was wrong with her but since she came here, she was whining continuously.

"Give me a proper reason and I promise, if I find it valid. I will do your work." Abhi uncle assured her.

"Fine. We will talk after the game." She said and got up to leave. Isn't she going to be here for the match?

"Aren't you going to watch it?" Aarav uncle asked as he saw her leaving. This is the second most thing I'm jealous about. I know Aarav uncle will never discriminate between us but I always feel like Kiara is his favourite one.

"What to watch? I know Richie rich is going to win it." She said and turned to leave but again stopped and looked at us. Richie rich? Since when she gave Ritik's nick name back to him? As far as I know, they both are not on talking terms, then when did this happen?

"I mean, his team, our college is going to win it. And uncle, I'm coming back. I would never miss the chance to watch this game with you and your commentary." Kiara said and went from there, whereas I started cursing my day. Every single thing was happening the opposite of what I thought.

Soon the game started and everyone started cheering for their favourites. Everyone thought that the game will be one-sided and our college will win it easily but again, the thing was totally opposite. It was almost going equal. We made a goal, they made a goal.

"Can't he stay out of fights?" Aashna aunty said annoyingly as we saw Ritik have a squabble. It was not Ritik's fault, the opponents were encouraging him to fight and Ritik was supposed to control his anger but then I can't complain because he always fails in this thing. Lucky enough he had Viraj with him, who was controlling him from time to time. The first half continued with this squabbles and by the end of first half the scores were equal.

I looked at Ritik and saw him standing in front of his coach. The coach was saying something but I hardly think he was listening to him, he looked angry, very very angry and with anger there was also a bit of tension visible on his face.

"Is he nervous?" I heard Aashika ask to Aarav uncle. No, he knows he wants to win this game and he will do it for sure.

"I don't think so. He is angry but definitely not nervous. My son knows how to get what he want." Uncle answered proudly.

Looking at Ritik I remembered how I always dreamt of someone who will be able to handle situations in much calmer ways. This short tempered boys were never my thing, yet I fell for someone who turns into a beast when angry. It maybe a unpopular opinion but though the short tempered boys looks hot, the calmer one,'s are best.
