Luxy's new weekend job

A/n so this is a remade chapter because what had wanted me to suffer and delete the original one so sorry if this is all changed up or something's missing.

Lux's POV:

I was relaxing on the couch watching TV when gradient walked up to me looking quite stressed. I got worried so I pause my show to see what was wrong.

Grad are you ok?

Yeah just a little stressed because we're short on money and the only way we can raise more is if one of us get the weekend job.

I can get a weekend job.

No Luxy you don't have to do that you already do so much for us, for me and I don't want you stressing yourself out.

Gray, it's fine, I'm willing to do it and plus I've been looking for a reason to get out of the house on weekends anyway.

Oh ok then well if you insist.

I quickly got up and went to her room to get on the computer and browse through job applications. As I was going through it I ran across one that caught my eye, it was a job application for a caretaker at a daycare. I absolutely love kids so I decided to look more into it. I was going to have an in-person interview tomorrow to see if I was fit for the job. I decided that I'd tell gradient that I was having an interview tomorrow since I was so excited, I love kids so this job will be great for me.

I applied for a job and I have an interview tomorrow!

Cool! What's the interview for?

A caretaker at a daycare! I hope I get the job!

Hehe I can tell you're excited. The caretaker would fit really well for you. You seem like you'd be really good at taking care of kids.

Me and grad hang out for the rest of the day chatting, watching TV, and cuddling. Is finally time for bed so we both went to sleep. I decided that I wanted to sleep a little bit earlier so I could get up early and get ready for my interview and grabbed just kind of decided to go to sleep at the same time. He didn't mind since he's a morning person after all. Morning came quicker than expected so I decided to get up shower and get dressed. I kissed gradient goodbye and went on my way to the interview. When I arrived a woman led me to her office to sit down.

So why do you want the job?

Well when I was browsing through the website I saw this on there and thought about how much I love kids and I would love this job.

Mhm. Any experience with kids?

Um.. I have a younger brother that I used to look after so yes.

Ok. Now I'm going to give you a scenario little Billy isn't sharing a toy with little Susie so Suzie snatches the toy from Billy what do you do?

Well I would put both of them in timeout Billy would be in timeout for not sharing and Susie would be put in timeout for being rude and snatching the toy.

Mhm good.  Well you did very well I'll say your fit for the job.

Great! When do I start?

Today if you want.

I followed her to the main room where all the kids were hanging out. There wasn't a lot of kids but they're also wasn't only a few kids.
