Choi Yeonjun + Eric Sohn

Yeonjun had never really been the type to be very social. How he became friends with Eric, a very outgoing social butterfly, was beyond him. Eric liked making tons of friends, being nice to everyone, being the center of attention.; basically all things Yeonjun did his very best to avoid.

As the saying goes, an introvert doesn't make friends, an introvert is adopted by an extrovert that just happens to be friends with everybody and their mothers. It's not really a saying but you get the point.

Today Eric and his boyfriend were going to a party. Juyeon's cousin apparently just moved into town and is going with them. And just so Juyeon's cousin had some company while Eric and Juyeon went off to do god knows what, Eric is dragging Yeonjun along.

Now, initially Yeonjun didn't even want to go. High school parties and Yeonjun were like water and oil. They just don't mix no matter how hard you try. He also had a big history test the following Monday so he wanted the spend his weekend alone in his room with his music and his books.

But unfortunately for him he befriended a golden retriever with the personality and persistence of a chihuahua.

"Please don't tell me that's what you're wearing." Eric practically grimaced at the sight of Yeonjuns clothes.

"What? Lack of effort in my appearance is what I excel at." Yeonjun shrugged.

"But seriously, this is low even for you. Can't you at least try to look like a normal teenager?" Eric asked, visibly disappointed in his best friend.

"I think sweats represent today's youth perfectly." Yeonjun said with his head up high.

"Ugh, now you're talking like my dad." Eric rolled his eyes. "Juyeon will be here with his cousin in twenty minutes so let's fix you up."

Yeonjun made a disapproving face as Eric took him back to his room by the hand.

"Why is he even taking his cousin? Can't you two go alone?" Yeonjun continued complaining. He was making it as obvious as possible that he really didn't want to go to this party.

Too bad his mom wasn't home, he would've told her to pretend Yeonjun was grounded so he could stay home. She was guest-teaching at a university in Busan for the week.

"Because Beomgyu is new in town and he wants to make friends! To ensure he isn't alone at this party, you're coming. Two introverts equal half an extrovert." Eric explained, pulling out some items from Yeonjun's closet.

He pulled out probably one of the ugliest cardigans he's ever seen.

"Why do you own this?" Eric screwed his eyebrows together.

Yeonjun walked over and took the cardigan into his hands and put it back.

"Don't touch it, it was my dads." Yeonjun said, moving to sit cross-legged on his bed.

Eric had almost forgotten just how much Yeonjuns late father meant to him. Yeonjun didn't talk about him much after he passed, so it was hard to remember what he was like. Yeonjun and his mom went through hell after he died, they were nearly homeless after a mistake made in his will.

It's been three years but Eric could tell Yeonjun was still hurting.

Eric decided not to touch on the subject further, he knew Yeonjun didn't like talking about it. He turned back to the closet and picked out a simple but chic white graphic hoodie and light washed jeans.

"Put these on." Eric said as he tossed the blond the clothes.

"I literally wear this everyday." Yeonjun gave Eric a confused look.
