there were days when i wanted to end it all.
few days after i lost my brother.
losing him was a recent thing.
the burden was too much for me.
even though i know it wasn't my fault.

he didn't kill himself because of me.
he killed himself because he had enough.
but i refused to let myself understand that.
i wanted someone to blame and i blamed myself.

the burden was too much for me to carry.
i wanted to end it all.
but that day that i was going to jump,
i walked pass the art building.
you were in one of the rooms and all i could hear was the sweet melody of your voice in the corridor.

your voice was laced with a drug.
i can't explain it but it made me have hope.
so i stood there and listened.
you sang different melodies
for what seemed like a few minutes
but it was at least an hour.

after that day,
i came everyday to hear your beautiful voice.

your voice saved me that day.
and i will always be grateful.
