the three of you walked into the bubble tea place, tired you laid your head on Iwaizumis arm taking your places in line.
"oikawa what are you getting?" you asked while oikawa was trying to avoid you laying on iwa
"Uh I've never tried any of these, oh well.. eenie meenie minee moe-"
"i apologize...He'll have a blueberry milk tea no bubbles" you told the cashier and giving oikawa a reassuring look, while Iwaizumi laughed at the brunettes stupidity.
Grabbing your drinks the three of you entered the once crowded park, that was now empty.
sitting beside each other on the bench, while watching the sun set soon turned into star gazing.
"the stars are beautiful" you said looking up at the stars in astonishment.
this caused the two to look up at the night sky as well.
that is until tooru stopped looking at the night sky to turn his gaze towards you. your lit up expression was enough to satisfy his eyes for the rest of the night.
though interrupting their time with each other they soon heard the bushes rattle, then looking at each other before deciding to run and laugh it off.
"hurry shittykawa!" Iwa yelled as you and him were already partially gone leaving Oikawa 500 feet behind the two of you.
"run bitch run!!!" you yelled egging him on
"YOU GUYS ARE ASSHOLES I WASNT READY" he yelled back making the two of you burst into a fit of laughter.
"tsumu move your fat ass!" osamu whispered harshly before shoving his brother into the bushes earning a "shhhh" from Suna
"if y/n sees us we're as good as dead." Suna whisper yelled at the fighting twins, taking a peak out his binoculars he noticed the three were no longer there.
"suna we can't stalk her." atsumu said deadpanning, which caused the other two to shrug their shoulders
"this isn't stalking! we're her best friends that want to protect her." suna said rolling his eyes.
"ah yes she would be proud to know her best friends are following her around while she hangs out with other friends." Osamu protested causing his brother to give a short speech
"well i think that Y/n should be proud to have such great friends, not them though. they're like some trashy threesome together. but when she's with us, it's like the four prettiest bitches in school we are godly." he said looking into the distance while the other two were still laughing at his failed attempt of being inspirational.
"can we get the hell out of this bush Im getting itchy." osamu said annoyed that they'd been crouching for the past 45 minutes while you had already left.
truthfully, the boy was just there to watch out for any funny business, he didn't want you to fall for Oikawa. which was why he didn't trust the man around you, he was competition. it just so happened to be his luck because the twins couldn't stand him either.
But would that stop Oikawa from getting what he wanted? No, no it would not.
after making it home you'd decided to shower and clear your head.
When you thought about it, you couldn't picture a future between you and oikawa. it felt too platonic, as good as he was toward you. you couldn't lie to him
you seriously didn't know what to do, so you chose the logical option and texted the group chat for advice, not that it would be good advice though.
