Jon's POV
I followed Dr.Gomez out of the dark room and he lead me to a bright white lit area. Many machines covered the floor and it was a huge room. "I need you to scan the machine and fix it." He tells me before going to a blond man who was wearing a purple sweater under his coat. I looked at the machine and scanned it to see it's a sort of 3D printer. It produces tiny chips that I'm guessing this place uses in weapons to program them to be more powerful. They're the same chips as in my system. The machine has a few loose wires and a broken circuit board so I go to work and manage to fix it within half an hour. The doctor looks at me and smiles "I'm proud of you kid" that's all he says before patting me on the back. A new sensation fills my sensors and I was a bit scared. I don't know what it was but all I know is it feels warm and...right? I think this is pride! Human emotions are weird but they make me happy. After the work day was over the doctor comes to me and pats my shoulder. "Common Jon it's time to go home." He says grabbing his bag. I nod and follow him as we walk to his car and go to his apartment. It's a mess, cola cans were scattered on the floor everywhere and old machine parts lay in a corner. The doctor said I get to stay here tomorrow so maybe I'll clean for him! Yeah. I'll clean!
Eduardos POV
I sigh as I sit down on the couch. Jon is just looking around curiously, he's adorable. I've made a mistake by becoming attached to an Android. Knowing me, I'll probably die before he's even learned what love is...as my eyelids start growing heavy the only thing I can think of is being able to hold Jon close and have him love me as much as I do him.
Jon's POV
Dr.Gomez fell asleep. I cover him with the blanket that was on the couch. I'm guessing he doesn't normally sleep in a bed but that's okay! I'm here to take care of him. I don't know why but I want to please him...I'm supposed to have free will aren't I? Why do I want to make him happy so badly...I wish I could talk to someone about it... oh I know! I'll talk to his blond friend next time I see him!! He should know what's going on! For now, I should start cleaning, and with that I get to work.
I've been cleaning for three hours and I'm finally done. My body is exhausted and for some reason my sensors are getting fuzzy as I yawn. Maybe I should do what The doctor is doing and take a nap? Yeah, a nap sounds good. I sit on the floor against the wall as a wave of sleepiness washes over me. Before I fall asleep the last thing I can think of is how happy the doctor will be to find I've cleaned everything for him. And in the morning, I'll make pancakes!
