Meeting The Family
' Connection'
The family of two got out of their car waiting for the light vehicle technician as they heard the wailing of a child coming from the forest, they look at each other before deciding to ignore it, but when it still continued for 5 minutes the female walked towards the sound with her husband following from behind.
They walked into the forest following the trail that leads them to a small infant child wrapped in a blanket, as it continued crying.
"Omg!", the female gasped rushing to the child lifting them in her arms as the man lead them back to the car where they had water and a medical kit.
They wiped her body with their pair of extra clothes they had in the trunk after they washed her body with water, that the woman had pulled out from the river.
As the child calmed down they noticed it was a girl, and she wasn't bleeding.
"Where are her parents?", the man asked his wife as she feeds the girl water with a bottle cap.
"I don't know"
"We should call the police", the man took his phone out quickly dialing the emergency number.
"Why would someone leave someone as cute as you", she was now rubbing the child's back softly humming a soft tune as the girl drifted to sleep.

"She will be sent to the orphanage", the police officer informed them as he took the sleeping girl out of the woman's arms who was refusing to let her go hinder the process.
She had developed a bond with the child she found in the woods.
Letting go of the small girl as her husband told her to, she immediately missed the small and warm figure that clung to her as if to receive all the warmth she could from the older woman.
She watched the child being taken away from her as she felt pain proliferate in her chest, as she too walked out.

The woman quietly sobbed in the examination room, while her husband talked to the doctor who had just examined his wife.
"Is it really true?", he looked at the doctor with hope in his eyes while he looked back to his wife who was sobbing on the hospital bed, with her back facing them.
The doctor signed lightly feeling sad, "Yes, she can not get pregnant, she infertile-".
He was cut by more sobs of the woman from the bed.
"Yoko, it's okay, it's fine, we can always adopt a child, please calm down...", her husband rubbed her back gently.
The doctor took his leave after gently bowing to the now sad couple.
Yoko calmed down a little after remembering the little girl's arms around her shoulders, she had found a week ago.
"Koichi, let's adopt her", she looked at her husband with eyes filled with determination and a small tiny little smile.
"Who?", Koichi questioned while looking at her wife in pure confusion.

The couple stood in front of the orphanage waiting for the manager to come out.
"Hello Mr. and Mrs.Hino and welcome to the Orphan Care Center.", the old women bowed down as the Hino couple did the same.
"We talked about the child over the phone yesterday."
