<< Third Person POV >>

TW; SWEARING, A BIT OF ANGST, AND MENTIONS OF DEATH

S1:E8-10 SPOILERS

It was here.

The day Norman was getting shipped.

Ray had barely came out oh his room since his mom gave the news. He didn't want to watch. Ray had barely been eating, barely been social, even if he rarely was that social. He only spent time reading in his rooms. He never came out. Why would he? The one person he loved was about to be taken away from him. One of the only people who made him happy.

Gone.

In the blink of an eye.

Ray started tearing up as he though about it. 'No, no, no, not now...' Ray thought to himself, rubbing his eyes. 'Goddamn it. Stop it Ray. It's not worth the trouble. It was bound to happen anyway.' Ray rubbed his eyes, trying to prevent crying, but he couldn't help but let a few tears slip. He buried his face into his knees, as he kept crying.

Soon, he heard a knock on the door. Giving a small flinch, Ray looked up, trying to stop his sobbing before answering the door or the person there.

"Ray...?" a familiar voice called out.

Ray rubbed his eyes, looking at the door, trying to sound as calm as he could. "Yeah?" he choked out. He knew who was at the door. Norman. Not that he didn't want to see Norman. Hell, he was the only person he wanted to see. He just didn't want him to see him bawling over his friend leaving.

"Can...can I come in?" The voice asked.

'Fuck.' Ray thought. If he let Norman in, he'd know. But if he didn't he'd also know. He rubbed his eyes, trying to prevent crying. Fuck it, it was good enough. "Yeah."

The door slowly opened, revealing Norman. The same Norman who was leaving Ray. The same Norman who Ray had a crush on for his whole childhood. Of course, he never have the courage to say anything. And now it was too late.

Norman instantly knew something was wrong with Ray. He walked over putting his stuff down to sit on the bed. "You okay?" Norman asked. Ray nodded in reply, causing Norman to frown. He didn't like when Ray lied about his feelings, a behavior that was very common with Ray.

"Ray, I know something's off. You know you can tell me." Norman put his hand on Ray's. He decided not to mention his shipment as that might make things worse.

Ray looked at Norman's hand before beginning to cry again. Norman gave a soft sigh, wrapping his arms around Ray, pulling him into a hug. From there, Ray began bawling in the white haired boy's shoulder. He felt embarrassed, he could admit, crying in his shoulder like this. It made him feel weak.

Norman didn't mind though. Whatever Ray needed, Norman would try to provide. He loved Ray deeply and cared for him. Sure, Norman wasn't the strongest, physically or mentally, but he still tried. He really did.

After a few minutes, Ray calmed down slightly, looking at Norman. "Please...don't go.." Ray mumbled, resting his head in the crook of Norman's neck. "It's not too late..please...I can't let you die.." He choked out through tears.
