Salina was sitting on the floor staring at the wall..she feel like the wall will collapse at any moment. She could not think straight anymore. All she know is that she needs to get away from this house at any cost. They will be here at any moment. She finger tremble as she looked down. Taking a few deep breath she stand up her leg wobble a bit, gritting her teeth. She gathered last bit of her strength, she needs to take her son and run away while she can. Everything will come after that.
She walked out of her room walking straight towards Aaiden's room. Her son she needs her son opening the door she froze. She bite her lips colour drained from her face. She gripped the door trying not to fall down as she looked at her father and her husband who had a blank look. While her father give her a cold look. She swallowed.
"W..What are you doing here?" She asked her eyes stared to her son still sleeping in his crib then her father.
Salina calm down. Everything will be fine. Why is she lying to herself?
When did reality become so bleak that she started giving false hope to herself? Somehow even that feels suffocating.
Her father glare at her coldly walking right upto her.
"D..dad" before she could say anything, her head turned away her cheek throbbed painfully. Tears filled her eyes as she grit her teeth. Her father slapped her.. More then the ache on her bruised cheek, her heart ached. This is the first time her father ever hit her.
"Mr.Henderson" Aaron said his voice held a warning tone. He did not like that at all.
"You cheated on him" She jumped starting at him, her eyes widen.
"How could you do something like this?" Her father spat glaring at her. She chuckled at his accusations.
"You are not even letting me explain" She said smiling sadly.
"What could you possibly explain? Did you cheat or him o not? Answer me Salina" She blinked her eyes gritting her teeth.
"I did. At least I tried too" She said looking straight at Aaron with a smirk. Her father snapped was about to hit her again. She closed her eyes tightly a tear trailing down her cheen but the his hand never make it to her cheeks. Aaron stopped it. Her jaw clenched as she glare at him.
"Stay away from this, you bastard" She snapped at him. Aaron regard her with a cool look letting go of her father's arm.
"Did not I asked you not to become like them?" His father asked. Them those old money snob who does not care about anything but themselves.
"The only thing I never wanted you to become and here you are" Her father said hurt was evident in his voice.
"Did not you promise me?" He asked her for the first time letting her see how hurt he is.
"Dad" She touched his hand.
"I am sorry dad, please listen to me" She gripped his hand tightly.
"There is nothing here to listen. You have already done everything. There is nothing left anymore"
"Dad" She feel choked.
"Please, Please dad.. I..I.. I am going mad. I am going mad dad. I can't stay here. I ...please I I can't do this anymore.. Dad...I am.." He shake his head.
"It's better if you stop trying for divorce and accept it as a compromise. There is no way out, Salina" She froze hearing his words.
"No.. no no.." She collapsed at last.
